*Real Raw Annoucement*

It’s been over two years of any recent posts or updates to my business and I know so many of my wonderful clients have wondered or asked if I have completely closed down for good.

I’m finally able to announce my reopening and expansion for Furever Unique. It’s been quite the emotional long two years of being closed temporarily.

It’s been a dream and goal of mine to achieve my CCPDT (certification for professional dog training) since I opened my business in 2014 and I’m closer to those dreams coming true. I finished my program graduating last year with the Canine Training Academy through Canine Foundation and Georgian College and if wasn’t for the phenomenal amazing teachers support along the way and the will and dedication towards myself to not give up, I’m not sure if would’ve happened at that time last year.

I had a lot of my own health concerns come up and the minst of that my family found out very suddenly in May 2023 that my Dad was diagnosed with Cancer (spinal cord compression) that had metastasized throughout his body. Within 6 months he lost his fight to cancer and I had to say goodbye to him at only 61 years old. That was by far one of the most hardest, painful and transformational journeys of my life. Those 6 months of time with him, I will never, ever forget.

I remember, one of our very last conversations sitting together, he told me how sad and hard it was to be leaving so soon, not being able to see his own kids and grandkids grow up but that he always saw me with my own Salon where I could grow my business. He went into so much detail, joy and happiness seeing a vision of what my business could be like in the future.

Never, would I ever have imagined, that within one year, the very exact vision he had for me was going to come true. I found the strength and resilience within to continue moving forward, being able to relocate local and have the spot to expand and make it through.

He would be so proud, watching down, as I am in myself for getting to this place in time, celebrating 10 years of Furever Unique this year.

I am looking forward to welcoming past clients back and helping new clients with all their pet care needs with much more to come in the future ❤️

Thank you to all my friends and clients who reached out to me knowing I live on Sun King Cres. Myself, my 4 boys and all the pets are safe. ❤️🙏 My heart breaks for all the families going through the tornado damage. I unfortunately don’t have power still but if anyone needs shelter or help for their pets please reach out to me ❤️

I just love this girl Pixie so much! She’s a senior and comes to see me every 6 weeks 🙂 she may not look like she needs a cut that often it but her coat is very thick but she gets very warm easily and doesn’t like it!

Pixie is also not a fan of the blow dryer much, so I shave off as much hair first then bathe her and blow dry her on a low speed for a short time! Always looking so sweet Pixie and I enjoy our visits very much! Thank you for another sweet day 🥰😘

I had all these beautiful pictures with the intention on making some memes of staying inside. Now it just seems so sad.

🌈 Our Rocket crossed the rainbow bridge on Friday. He suddenly had a big stroke last Wednesday. We miss him so much. He was only with us a short time but those moments we shared as a family were so magical. You were the biggest couch potato and love bug to everyone... and everyone was your pillow. We love you lots big dog. You are now running free where ever your nose takes you this time 🌈
