Our Commit to Change grants are for animal shelters and rescues in the U.S. and Canada that care for adoptable pets. We've heard that scammers are being particularly creative this season trying to get your Adopt-a-Pet.com password, so here's our annual reminder... stay safe everyone, and happy New Year!

Scammers are everywhere on the internet, and they like to try and trick people into giving up their important account information. Here are a few things you can check to be sure your account information stays safe.

* Adopt-a-Pet.com will NEVER ask you for your password or other sensitive information.
*Only make changes to your Adopt-a-Pet.com account on the www.adoptapet.com website.
*If you receive an email that you are not sure came from us, use the Contact Us form within your www.Adopt-a-Pet.com account to let us know. We do our best to get fake forms on phishing websites taken down ASAP.

Founded by a group of compassionate students, https://www.wagsfortags.org/ is offering free engraved pet tags to non-profit animal rescues anywhere in the US!

🐾 Calling all non-profit rescues! 🐾

We provide FREE pet ID tags, just like the adorable pup in the picture is modeling! These tags come at absolutely no cost for non-profit organizations, and we'll even customize them with your contact information on the front.

To date, we've donated over 3,600 tags to 40 rescue organizations across 14 states, and we're excited to expand our reach even further.
