I tried to get this site going before Covid & all that last few years. I think I’m finally ready to give it a go.
I have been using a medicinal service dog for over a decade now. I train my own and am on my 3rd ClaireBear.
I was shocked to learn in the last decade + how many people don’t realize that they can train their own service dogs & how much mis information is out there about that subject.
I’m head to tell you that you can. I’d like to share my story and direct people to the places to get the information they need to do so as well and provide support to help them be able to have the same right to own a medical/psych service dog as someone who gets one from a trainer or one of those places that pick a few people to help.
I don’t admit to know everything & I learn something everyday. Without my service dog my life would not be any kind of life at all.
Everyone should be able to enjoy the freedom that having such a dog affords them & be educated on just how to do it.
I’m here to help those with real disabilities & not those that just want to slap a SD jacket on their dog so they can take it with them places. Please don’t do that it only hurts those of us who need them.
