Big day for this one this week 🤎
Miss Lyanna (Orsina Ice and Fire) is officially retired after being desexed. After a couple of days recovering, she is doing very well

After retaining our keeper pup from her last litter and her now being 6 years old, it was time.
She was such a brilliant mum and has brought joy to so many families (including us) with her offspring…

While Lyanna is officially retired from breeding and now Orsina supervisor (aka couch surfer) with her mum and sister, we are excited to hopefully get her back in the show ring in the neutered category, once we are settled back in QLD 🐾

Mondays are fast becoming Granny Aryas favourite day. After our school visit, it’s a nice slow stroll home around the oval with all those delightful smells to sniff. She’s now home and fast asleep 🧡 🐾

Dog owners taking their pets to the City’s dedicated dog beaches please be cautious of sea hares that may wash up on the sand. Resembling a large squid-like creature, sea hares produce a poisonous ink and slime layer which can prove deadly to pets if a dog simply licks the creature’s covering.

Reported symptoms to look out for include over-excitement, tremors, seizures, drooling or vomiting. If you believe your dog has ingested a sea hare or is showing the above symptoms please seek veterinary care immediately.

Those first walk feels 🐾
Spring has definitely sprung 🌼

At this age, walking is more for the socialization aspect rather than physical exercise (we need to protect this little joints). We had a short stroll to the oval and then at a snails pace, enjoyed a ‘sniffari’.
We saw birds in the trees, heard school children playing and had a number of cars drive past. All positive experiences to new surroundings and sounds. It was ok if Raya was a little unsure, I just provided her with some positive reinforcement so she knew it was ok.
She had a wonderful time
