As Animal Advocates our mission is to bring to safety and rehome as many homeless pets as possible. All of our pets live in foster homes, we are NOT a shelter.
Our pets are not exposed to shelter diseases. We are located in the Tampa, Fl area. We are not limited to shelter pets as we believe that helping the elderly that can no longer take care of their pets or pets that would otherwise be taken to the shelter also need our help. We are committed to giving the best possible care to as many pets as we can. We will ensure their medical and physical safety
with us and restore them to the health they may need. We are a nonprofit, no kill rescue in that we do not believe that any healthy pets should be euthanized and even though it may take time that every pet we foster will eventually find it forever home with our help. We will promote humane treatment for all animals whether personally owned or in shelters through education and guidance. Our organization is solely funded by donations and adoption fees and fund raisers and our volunteers receive no compensation for all the generosity they extend to helping save the lives of these pets that have no voice of their own. Our ultimate mission is to enrich the lives of as many pets as possible through their lifetime in forever homes through our adoption program.

It's Yorkie time! This week we rescued 2 yorkies from the shelter that we're not doing well in that environment. They were not taken in together. A 9 yr old, 9lb female and a young, 11lb male. Both are adorable. They will be up for adoption soon.

Last night we got a call about 3 kitties that mom got killed and asked could we take, they are about a week old. Today we got a call about amomma cat that's kittens died, all but one and asked if we could take. Today we combined those 2 families and mom and kitties are all thrilled.

Looking for a Foster or foster to adopt a 12lb , 4 yr old chiweenie. She is heartworm positive and doing well with her monthly treatment, no signs of heartworm. She's very active and extremely sweet. She was a breeder dog for a hoarder and now is loving life.
We have been doing some TNVR in an area full of cats but 2 were too far along for us to spay. Yesterday one was rushed to the vet with a rupture in her belly, today she had her kitties. We are hoping they all survive and doing what we can to save them. Mom is on a series of medicine and supplements, kitties too. Any donations toward their medical care is appreciated. We are currently fostering this dog for the shelter and looking for his owners. He's been on the run with another dog for a couple weeks. If his owners aren't found he will be vetted and put up for adoption. If he looks familiar please contact us. Proof of ownership will be required.
We had a fabulous adoptathon, 5 adoptions. Thank you to all who helped. Now we still need fosters especially for medium and larger size dogs. The Pasco County Animal Services is still over flowing with some absolutely fantastic dogs and cats, you need to check them out. Cat fosters needed also for pregnant mommas.

These 3 pups were abandoned but will now get proper vet care, chipped and put up for adoption. The water was like mud that poured off them and they really seemed to love their baths. Dixie’s mom Debbee is a rescuer. She fosters, does TNR and transports cats and dogs for rescue groups. Debbee adopted Dixie from a feed store in TN. She was an adult cat being overlooked when Debbee first saw her. Debbee promised her if she was still waiting when she came back to the store she was taking her home. We hope that Dixie’s story inspires people to adopt adult cats
Dixie was rescued from snowy streets of Bemidji Mn. She’s matriarch to a family of rescues. And is especially fond of our CH cat Wiggles.

Scotty is 3.5 yrs old and Wrangler a year old, both around 6lbs, fully vetted and chipped up for adoption.
This is Margo, she was injured and was at the shelter but as you can see she has recovered nicely. She will be up for adoption in 2 weeks. She's almost 4 months old, knows commands, loves to play, weewee pad and outside trained, walks on leash, she's so much fun. She will be fully vetted and chipped. From petrified to pet me, this sweet girl is on to her new life since mommy passed away. We will be looking for a new mommy or daddy for her. She's a 5 yr old pomchi..
Yesterday we rescued this poor girl that's been sitting in the shelter for a week with a fractured pelvis and some broken ribs, hit by a car. She's just 12 weeks old. She's going to need further medical care and cage rest as well as medications to fully recover. Shes so sweet and deserves this chance. We are asking for donations to help with her medical care. Here's our boy Scooby playing with his toys, he's a work in progress, very smart, learning commands. He entertains himself really well though but he's so much fun.

ADOPTED Here is what fostering does, these 2 girls were breeders scared to even leave their crate, not used to human touch but foster mom through patience and love has shown them an entire new way of life. No more babies, just love, cuddles and kisses. Not only do they feel better but their foster mom has a full heart knowing that opening her home to these girls, giving them a safe haven will now lead to a great furever home with some lucky families.
