Poor Glub Glub hasn’t been feeling well lately. We took him to the vet today and he’s lost 3 pounds since his last visit and his bloodwork shows some elevated liver function tests. We go back for an ultrasound on Friday.

Took Cookie and Glub Glub(??!!??) on a walk yesterday. GG joined us for the entire time, even getting close on occasion. And then he came home and antagonized Cookie around the house. But maybe there is hope🐕‍🦺🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

The closest thing to a truce we’ve seen yet

All of our cats have some unique and completely reliable routines. This is one of Mickey’s. She prefers to eat with her back to the wall. I think she feels vulnerable in the middle of the floor, probably a hold-over from random Bubbles’ attacks. My favorite routine used to be Glubby waiting to come in on the front porch welcome mat and Bubbles waiting on my car. When I’d open the door, Glubby would slowly get up, take a step or two into the doorway, and then stretch a few times before waddling inside. While he was lollygagging, Bubbles would sprint from the car and jump over him as she bolted into the house. Glub Glub still does his part, but not as cute without being paired with Bubbles’ acrobatics.
