My milking goats are rock stars!! This is the end of week one of milk sharing each morning they gave me a little more. Yesterday gave me a gallon - some being dehydrated some in the fridge for the bottle baby. This morning the girls gave me 1.25 gallons!!!

It's hard not to cry when a half gallon of freshly collected milk is lost because the pail tipped over.

More babies have arrived! The farm is bustling with new life!

A little over a month ago one of our bucks took a pretty serious injury and lost/had to have a horn removed.

Happy to report he has made a full recovry and is living a happy life as a unicorn now.

Thanks to our friend Cathia Lightfoot our sweetest little swine have names now!

Pumpkin Spice ... who does indeed love her pumpkins and bananas

And Burnt Sugar ... because the youngest farmer had a little trouble with pronouncing Creme Brulee. Sugar is a saucy lady too that always has something to say.

Both girls have started to roll over and enjoy belly scratches from us now. And it's just the cutest thing.

New Additions! Ealry Meadows Farm was lucky enough to score a pair of Registered Idaho Pasture Piglets.

These little ladies are surpisingly cute addtions to the homestead.

Though we do need help naming these little cuties. Any suggestions friends? Post below some name ideas and we'll pick one or both from your suggestions!

Been a great farm chicken weekend!
Got our first eggs out of the hens, the 59 juvenal chickens got moved out to the yard, and processed 14 roosters for the freezer farm. Additionally, the new larger chicken tractor design is moments away from going out in the yard!

We care for the chickens health and comfort as they are moved to a fresh plot of grass each day - the new tractor gives them even more space and fresh food to enjoy. :)
