It has been a rough five months. Sweet Shammy left us in October.

Kidney failure took my beloved Monkey Feb 13 and aggressive, fast moving cancer got Big Black just now on March 15.

We haven't been down to just 8 cats since 2012. I know that's still a lot... it just feels funny. But I've known for awhile now that we needed to pare down. For years now, I've tried to be helpful. To love and see through to the end, the journey with as many little souls as I could.

I believe Biggie was the 18th goodbye in 12 or 13 years... you can only get stabbed in the heart so many time before your heart begs you to stop.
