Hi, I’m Kaya – your soon-to-be favourite celebrity in the pound jungle! 🌴 I might not be on reality TV, but trust me, my story deserves the spotlight. I’m a 2-year-old Border Collie x Staffy with a gentle heart, a curious mind, and a face ready for the red carpet 📸 (or at least your comfy couch!).

Right now, I’m stuck in the pound, untested with dogs, cats, or kids – so let’s just say I’m still a bit of a mystery box challenge. This helps him stay calm and focused wherever life takes him!

🐾 Can You Be a Respite Hero? 🐾

Do you work FIFO or shift work and have a few days off at home now and then?

We have a small number of beautiful Scruffer Lovers dogs currently staying in kennels up in the hills—and they would absolutely love a break in a real home. 💛

These dogs are in kennels through no fault of their own. Despite being shared online for weeks (even months!), their forever families just haven’t come along yet. 😔

But here’s the heartwarming part: a kind member of the public recently offered to give respite to one of our kennel dogs when they’re home between shifts—and it’s made such a difference! This pup gets to rest, reset, and enjoy a few days in a loving environment. 💕🏡

So we thought… maybe there are more people out there like them?

🚨 URGENT FOSTER CALL OUT! 🚨
2 Friendly Young Dogs Need Help ASAP!

Last week we rescued a mum and her pups… Now we’ve found three more dogs on the same property. One lucky boy has found a foster, but the other TWO are still at risk of heading to the pound.

We need your help to get them into care NOW.

🐶 Meet the boys:
✅ Male, around 12 months old
✅ Friendly and good with other dogs
❓ Not tested with cats
👨‍👩‍👧 Best with older children (limited background info)
🎓 Will need basic training – just young dogs looking for a fresh start
🏠 All they want is a warm home and a kind heart to guide them to their forever families
