Scout is on the glide to sweet 16 - and is enduring several health issues. He still hikes with me every morning through these woods. But where he used to soar over logs like this one, now he hops up on then down the other side. Our hikes are much shorter now. But the heart is still willing though several joints and muscles are battling back.

Scout has had a kind of rough week, but with the gentle diagnosis and some miracle meds, he is back hiking with me on a much abbreviated schedule, and enjoying life again. Thanks for all the kind thoughts - looking forward to our adoption anniversary celebration in just about 10 days.
