Yesterday we had a 911 call about twelve puppies that are not yet three weeks old but their mother has mastitis and is unable to care for them. The tiny crew is safely in foster care and doing well adjusting to formula and gruel. If you can spare a can of formula, we would certainly appreciate it! Sweet girl Dolly is still looking for her place to call home 🥺

She has been with us since she was a baby and she is now a little over 2 years old!😭 Can you believe her sweet face has had ZERO interest in her?? I know we can't believe it!
She's a sweetheart who loves attention and playing with her toys - she really likes her mice toys.
She wouldn't mind being a only cat or with one other, dogs are a hit and miss - she has liked calmer dogs.

Maybe she can find someone who's allergic to the same thing she is....fish! That's right our Dolly has a fish allergy and can't have anything fish-based even though she loves it.

She is hanging out at PetSmart (Monroe Street) desperately hoping someone will come along and fall in love with her.

"Rexa" is now at Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet safe and sound. She was rescued by a lovely woman (we did not get her name). While driving into work we spotted a woman parked in a lot on the corner of Upton and Central--- a BUSY area. She was trying to rescue a kitten that she saw attempt to cross Central. The kitten had run under her car. The 3 of us were able to nap Rexa before she darted or climbed into the engine (which was on).

Rexa is a sweet, but scared, little orange tabby. She is very lucky that kind woman stopped to help her out. There are kind and wonderful people out there who do give a darn and will see something and help someone in need. Thank you mystery woman for helping out a kitten in need
