Hi, I've seen him on my porch 3 times now, he always ran before but today he was literally crying at my door and didn't run. West church street area in Somerset. He's a male, unique markings on his tail, very vocal and friendly.

There are several incorrect numbers for reporting animal abuse and neglect be circulated on Facebook. One of the more popular is just for Eastern PA, others are for other states. Please locate the number for the humane officers in YOUR county and call them directly or your local police to report animals left out in the cold. A reminder of PA law: dogs may not be tethered for no longer than 30 minutes in temperatures below 32 degrees. In these temperatures, even 30 minutes is too long for many dogs, but there is nothing law enforcement can do if it is less than 30 minutes. If you are going to report a situation, document it. Take time stamped photos or videos that prove how long the dog was tied out. There are no laws for cats.

Hi! I don’t know if you guys take messages or if this is out of range, but it’s worth a shot. I was driving on 653 in Scullton. Which I am not too familiar with I just visit from time to time . Anyways, between King Road and the Scullton rod and gun club on 653 there was a black lab running on the road towards the club. He would not let me come near him and he already had a limp. He looked to have a big black chunky collar, almost like an electric fence one. I couldn’t get a picture because he kept running away from me. Up to you guys if you wanna make a post. I just felt bad that I couldn’t do anything I’m not sure who else to contact but I know you guys are great at getting information out so I thought I’d let y’all know. Thanks so much!

Found this dog tonight on Sugarloaf Rd in the area of Ohiopyle State Park. She is a lab mix with no collar. Very friendly, well mannared, dry and looks clean. Will get her checked for a microchip tomorrow.
