Some big and small clients this week! Marley needed a tidy up before showing this weekend and little Hazelnut wasn't shedding out his winter coat. Now they're both looking fresh for spring in their full clips.

It was a nice quiet weekend for me with only one horse. Oscar was so good for his custom clip with 👑 and ⭐s! This big guy was sweating just standing in the barn, so he should be much more comfortable now.

Off to Mission Ridge this morning to give 3 ponies some trace clips and mane tidies. Oakley, Luna, and Oliver are ready for their move home soon!

Hi everyone,

My favourite time of year is approaching! My books are open and I will be taking limited appointments this fall. I will be doing more “barn days” instead of one-off appointments this year, so please try to plan ahead with others at your barn to make sure I can fit your ponies in.

I am currently booking dates from September 23rd - October 29th, and I have already booked the following barn days:

Oct. 13 - Ash Bren, with availability for one more horse in evening
Oct. 14 - Riverfront in AM + Solaris in PM (availability for 1 or 2 more horses at either location)
Oct. 15 - Westwood Warmbloods (full)
Oct. 21 - Mission Ridge in PM (other availability in St. Albert/west Edmonton in AM)
Oct. 22 - Big Island in AM

If you are a member of any of the above barns and would like to book a clip, please contact me as soon as possible as spots fill quickly.

Looking forward to seeing your ponies and getting them ready for winter!

Two cutie pies done tonight before our next heat wave! London is sensitive to the bugs so she's sporting an Irish clip to help her stay cooler, but give her some protection. You can't tell she's 22!

Bug was the sweetest yearling for his first ever clip. This guy's fluff was so thick he couldn't feel the electric fence when he was pushing it! 😂 He should be easier to contain now and more comfortable in the heat.

Hey folks! Just an update on my fall schedule. Current days booked are: Oct. 9 - Riverfront Stables Oct. 23 - Westwood Warmbloods Oct. 29 - Big Island Stables (AM) Oct. 30 - Falkenberg Stables Nov. 19 - Spirit Horse Stables I will be unavailable on Oct. 15 or 22 due to prior commitments. Please message soon if you'd like to book a date for your barn or if you want to add your horse to the list for any of the current barns booked!

I know the forecast doesn't look like it, but it is going to start warming up soon! If your horse or pony was dying in the heat last summer consider booking them in earlier so they have a chance to grow some hair back before the bugs are out in full force. I have extremely limited availability in May, so message soon to get your appointment booked in. 🙂✂️🐴

Hi folks, Are you or someone you know looking for an excellent jumping partner? Delta Court is a sweet horse with an amazing talent for jumping. I've had the chance to groom him and watch him at his first show. He would be a great partner for an adult ammy or junior in a program. Check out his website for photos, videos, and contact info. www.deltacourt.weebly.com The video here is his first round in the 0.8m at the show in Ponoka today. This was his first time showing this height and only his second horse show. He confidently navigated the ring with an adult ammy.
