What an amazing weekend!! It was the very first competition for one of my riders and the first competition away from home for all of them!! I can’t even describe how proud I am!! All of them stepped up and they overcame fears, nerves, and everything that you can feel when you are doing something for the very first time… 5 riders (Fer, Vinyet, Angie, Mariana and Cecilia)in Introductory level, with some Challenges but all of them got better on the 2nd day!!
In Infantil (training level) my 2 riders (Maia and Sofia) got very good scores and lovely comments from the judges. Big thank you to all the parents for supporting me and their children and hopefully one day they will be in the Olympics as lots of them say to me!!

Lovely weekend at Riding Club San Miguel…
This show is just perfect…. Good people, good horses and wonderful riders! I had so much fun judging and was able to test my knowledge with a Junior rider test and a small tour!! I felt confident to give a couple of 8’s and a 9 for a beautiful extended trot!!!

I think as a judge I have a massive responsibility towards horses and riders…
I had the chance to give a little feedback to the riders to help them improve their scores!!
Such a wonderful weekend and place… thank you hopefully see you very soon!!!!

Celebrating and honouring death.. fundamental part of (my) Mexican culture…

I want to keep this as my only tradition! In which we don’t fear death, in which there is no heaven or hell... in which women were the fundamental part of society and in which we honoured them as goddesses and respect them and loved them but never fear them…

So important to keep the door open to whoever need it… the door to dialogue and support.

The equestrian sport can be very tough and lonely. Full of ups and downs.. as a rider, coach, groom..

As a rider that started as a show-jumper at a very young age… I always thought about dressage as a very different, difficult and “boring “ sport!

I couldn’t be more wrong!!! I was only introduced to Dressage in 🇬🇧 and since then… I couldn’t look back… when you understand it, learn it from the theory and practice is just the most wonderful way of giving back a bit of love to those amazing animals!
But in the other hand.. yes!!! I think dressage riders can be a bit over the top😂😂

*Has chilled wine in grooming kit back at the truck! 😂
*”convinced that the judge just didn’t like their horse not that they rode a bad test”. Well, now that I’m a judge.. I might still blame the judge! 😂

5 years ago today was my last day at work back in London and in the beautiful Wimbledon Village Stables.. I spent there amazing 7 years learning with amazing people and horses…

Made great memories and friends during my time there and I will never forget the horses that stole my heart..
