✨SOLD✨

Frankie is still looking for his person!

He has been such a good boy for being in inconsistent work. Someone willing to put in a month or two of strengthening work into him will get a fabulous horse at such a good price! (Have I mentioned he's won at BN???)

Currently schooling 2'6 and learning basic lateral movements. A very forward but simple ride.

Another season of NHHSET in the books!✅

I am so proud of all of my riders and spirit members, and I am especially proud that not only every pair made it to states, but everyone learned how to choose to do what was best for their horse. This year was full of learning experiences!

I am so happy to be a part of these wonderful teen's journey. If horses don't want to play, you can't force them, and despite a few let downs this season, we learned how to be kind when your horse says no. How to be light, yet effective, how to improve sportsmanship while at a show, how to take a step back and conquer very real and tough fears. How to trust your horse.

The Bedford High School Equestrian Team ended the season strong with a 2nd place in equitation over fences, 5th place in WTC Trail, and 9th place in practicum.

Thank you so much to NHHSET, volunteers coaches, admins and students for another year of a wonderful program! And a very special 🌟THANK YOU🌟 to Olivia for the use of her absolutely magical creature, Gus! He is a rockstar and my team appreciated your endless kindness.❤️

I am increasing my availability for lessons and training rides weekday afternoons and most of the day Thursdays. Travel rates can be a little flexible if I have multiple people in your area!

I specialize in dressage, jumpers and eventing, but have years of experience in the hunter/EQ rings. Happy to help with rehabs, quirky horses, greenies, etc.

My program focuses on developing a confident and effective horse and rider in a positive and encouraging environment. I can help you accomplish whatever goals you and your horse might have, competitive or not. Being a part of your journey to watch and assist in your development is incredibly rewarding, and it's why I love to do what I do.

I am currently working towards my USDF Silver Medal, have schooled the 1.30+m (even though it's been a while!) and training level eventing. Have restarted numerous OTTBs, started a handful of horses, and rehabbed various injuries.

No lesson horses at this time, will travel up to about an hour and 15 minutes from Dover, NH, open to discussing limited availability for training board in Nottingham, NH.

Hi all!

I am beginning to increase my availability to allow for more students, so I am looking to start filling up my schedule teaching and training over the next year. Happy to take on those of you I've worked with in the past, or if I haven't worked with you before and you're interested, please message me! I already have a few spots taken, let's see what we can work out!🥰

I am also happy to assist in organizing clinics, horse shows, and other events, based on my event management and marketing backgrounds.

My program focuses on developing a positive environment and instilling confidence in both horse and rider. I can teach to whatever goals you and your horse might have. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a horse and rider flourish together. Being a part of your journey to watch and assist in your development is incredibly rewarding!

Just a few things about what I do:

-I've started and restarted multiple horses of various breeds, though primarily OTTBs
-Spent a summer as an exercise rider and groom learning about young horse management and riding flat-racing Thoroughbreds
-I have helped, and can help, rehab various injuries and bring horses back into work
-Assist in the resolution of problem horses (bolting, bucking, rearing, stopping, etc- though usually stems from a medical issue)
-I grew up riding in the Hunter/Jumper rings and have schooled 1.30m+, taking home multiple local circuit year-end championship awards
-I have developed a handful of equitation, hunter/jumper, event and dressage horses, and can successfully debut your green bean at their first shows
-I have schooled Training Level eventing and have brought a few green horses to their first events at BN, though haven't had the horse to compete at a higher level
-I have catch ridden at larger venues such as HITS Saugerties and Saratoga Horse Show, groomed at various large events such as the CDIs at Global In Wellington and Millbrook Horse Trials
-Have developed horses through 3rd level dressage, Baby Greens, 1.10m jumpers, Novice Eventing
-Assisted in the management of a 30-60 horse facility, supervised working students, and prepped facility for shows, clinics, etc
-Spent a lot of time as a working student and groom for UL jumpers, event riders, and an FEI Dressage rider
-Looking to partake in the USDF L Program in 2025 or 2026 as well as other educational programs
-And so much more!!

Happy to help with various riders and horses, from beginners to the overconfident junior or seasoned amateur. I have been asked a lot, but to clarify, I do not have a horse to teach on at this time. COI available upon request- feel free to stalk my socials too - although I rarely get pictures of what I do 😊

The hardest thing about riding a large, strong, and naturally heavy horse, especially when they are 12x bigger than you, is remaining light in your aids.

Working to supple the ribcage while maintaining a quick hind end and an elastic contact is not easy for either of us. Teddy is developing a much more tactful rider, while I am helping him relax his brain a little bit. For such a d***y gelding, he's incredibly smart and easily overthinks, which can result in a lot of tension in his jaw, neck and back. That being said, his go-to avoidance now rarely occurs, and we are working better and better together every day.

I've had this wonderful horse since last June, but he's only been in a consistent program since October. Before that, he was semi-retired for almost 2 years. Despite his INCREDIBLE amount of education, building fitness takes time, and it's given us the time we need to figure each other out.

We are far from ready to compete at a horse show, but I'm hoping to get this cool guy to a few clinics this spring!🥰

Horses are natural grazers, and are meant to continuously eat throughout the day. Most performance horses are stalled at night, if not longer, with limited access to pasture. They can be incredibly intelligent, and if you have a horse like Teddy, they get bored pretty quickly!

This is why every horse I've owned has a Shires Equestrian North America ball feeder. The ball feeder is not only an entertaining puzzle that prevents boredom, but when paired with Purina Performance Horse Outlast Treats, it helps support optimal gastric pH, therefore aiding in the prevention of ulcers. If you haven't seen the research behind Purina Outlast, I would HIGHLY recommend you check it out on the Purina Feed Greatness website!

All my horses get a full serving of Purina Outlast 20-minutes before they work. I can rest easy knowing Purina Outlast not only supports my horse's gastric health, but supports my horse's mental-emotional well-being when paired with the ball feeder!

Teddy gets both his Outlast treats and his Purina Horse Feed grain from Meader Supply in Rochester, NH

Nothing is more rewarding than sharing my passion with others.

My newest addition, Henry, has proven to be an absolutely exceptional asset, as he opens up more opportunity to make many dreams of learning to ride come true.

Henry is a 14-year-old Paint gelding, who was adopted from the NHSPCA.

I also appreciate that my wonderful husband, who co-owns this horse with me, is willing to let him be used for lessons. ❤️

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who reached out!

Gathering interest for those who may be interested in training or sales board about 25 minutes from Durham, NH, before I take a leap. This will include training rides, lessons, and/or groundwork / lunge sessions. Possibility to work off board as well. Currently looking at opportunities beginning sometime next year, most likely early summer.

Leopold of Shakespeare, aka Teddy, has been settling into his new home very well. He's already the barn favorite, horses and humans alike!

With this addition, I am still accepting students for both training and lessons, however, availability is VERY limited at this time.

It has been an absolute privilege to coach the Bedford High School Equestrian Team this year. Unfortunately, many of our riders weren't able to compete so far, due to unforseen circumstances, however, I am proud of them for putting their horse's well being first. For those who were able to bring their horses to compete, I am so proud of way they handled difficult situations, whether they were mental, physical, or your typical "horse doesn't want to play". I do not usually teach a lot of these riders, I only see them a few times before their shows and of course at the shows, however, I appreciate how coachable every student has been and how eager they are to learn and improve. The future is bright for all of these students as they continue to learn and grow with their horses.❤️ Fingers crossed these individuals make it to states!

Personal Agenda has been working hard on the flat for some time, and he was beginning to tell me he needed some more variation in his routine. Decided to set up a grid and see how he went.

Well, this wasn't the best time through, however, he loved it! Not too shabby, especially since *I* haven't jumped much more than cross rails on dressage horses for a few years! Looking forward to jumping more sticks with him in the future. Especially when he makes 3'6 look so small!🥰

I personally love setting grids. They help the horse think about its feet, improve balance and straightness, and engage the hind quarters. Hobbs, like most Thoroughbreds, can be reluctant to reach out over the back, and asking for more bascule over fences will help. More fun than simple trot-canter transitions and groundpoles for him!

I am very excited to begin working with another talented mare!

Willow, a young, registered TBxTrekhener mare, is such a smart and talented girl. You'll see her at hunts, events, and other fun outings, however, she will be specializing in dressage. I foresee this mare making a solid mid-level dressage horse, but I'm sure she'll surprise us with more!

Thank you to for trusting me with your lovely mare. Thank you for connecting us. I'm excited for our journey to begin!

Let's talk mental health. Something everyone, including myself, in this industry loves to ignore until it gets to the point of crippling burnout.

Warning, this gets a bit personal.
I have been diagnosed with clinical anxiety, to the point where doing simple, every day tasks can be overwhelming. For example, scheduling regular doctors appointments over the phone. Was I able to hide this? Absolutely. Was I able to perform well? Yes. However, my mind was not always in the best place, and long term, it would get worse.

I went through working with doctors and tried at least 4 different medications. Either these prescription medications didn't work, or the side effects were so inhibiting, that I chose to stop looking for a prescription answer.

I had always considered CBD, however, I was genuinely nervous about drug testing and how it all worked. But then I did a little research and stumbled upon Trove CBD . I have been on CBD for about 6 months now, and although the anxiety is still there, it is SO much more tolerable than it used to be. My body is more relaxed and I am in less pain (I used to be able to barely walk "sound" on rainy days, now they don't even bother me!). The positive effects of CBD is a mile long, from my own *personal* experience.

Trove has options that do not include the hallucinogenic THC and will pass a drug test. FEI legal (Look at Steffen Peters!). If you or a loved one have been struggling with pain, sleep, anxiety, depression, or mood stabilization, etc, Trove CBD can help. Also available are animal options (dog, cat, horse etc.) I highly recommend giving it a try!

Yesterday was a good day.

Kodiak and I found a last minute ride to the Beland Fall Show. (Thank you SO much Beth Worcester for giving us a ride! You are incredible!)

We had 2 minutes of warm up before being hurried into the ring. Yes. Two minutes.

I had completely forgotten that I had oiled my reins two days before, as he schooled in the double bridle the day prior, and I couldn't get a good grip on my reins. He did everything he was asked, some half halts fell through, but he wasn't where I usually felt him. I mean, not surprised, as we barely warmed up.

Beland was SO helpful in rearranging my ride time so I could get home. We had 10 minutes to warm up before our second test, (my watch's time was off by 10 minutes🤦) and Kodiak felt good. As soon as we turned down center line, he got a touch flat, but it was corrected through the first corner. His medium trot is still not 100%, however, it is COMPLETELY different than it was a year ago. Shout out to the awesome help of Stephen R Hayes Dressage in developing his trot, and my equitation. 🙌

After the halt, rein back at C, he felt GOOD good. And then the bell rang. I pirouetted in the wrong direction 🤦. All in all, I felt I produced a decent test with a tougher judge.

We came out with a 71% in our first test, 2.1, giving us both our highest rated scores to date, and high point for 2nd level. First place.

Our second test was a 64% in 2.3, second place. If we didn't have an error, it would have been a first, and I am happy with that!

It was a day of many firsts.

First show in over 2 years.

First show competing as a professional in Open.

First time showing this horse.

First time off property in over a year for Kodiak.

First time *being* the trainer.

First place at 2.1.

This horse and I have come a LONG way since September. I'm so very pleased🥰

Thank you again Beth for the transportation, Stephen for the lessons, Cindy Burke for the ride. Thank you Trilogy Performance Saddlery for the unparalleled quality and comfort, EQyss Grooming Products for helping me keep Kodiak glistening, Shires Equestrian North America for outfitting my ride, and Beland Stables, Inc. for putting on a fantastic show!

For over 10 years I have tried and trusted EQyss Products on all of the horses I have worked with. EQyss is my go-to for shampoos, conditioners, and rehydrant sprays. 💫

Kodiak prefers the Premier Natural Botanical Shampoo, however, my EQyss collection doesn't stop there. He's very satisfied with his clean self, even though we both know he's just going to roll in turnout later!😂🤦

I highly recommend stocking up on EQyss Products for your next outing, especially since regionals, AEC's and more, are right around the corner!🙌
