A RACE AGAINST TIME: CUTTING IT CLOSE TO THE WIRE!
PAWS R US (SA) faces a significant challenge over the next 4 months. At the end of November, we must move out of the temporary boarding facility we're currently in. And, as of 1 December, WE WILL HAVE NOWHERE TO GO.

Regular followers will know our former landlady sold her land in April, and as a result, we had to move out of our long-time home at Cadeau Kennels in Midrand. We've been at the BF KENNELS & CATTERY facility in the Riversands Farm area, Fourways, since 6 April. This was meant to be a temporary measure while we look for a HOME. However, as of now, we still have nothing definite re a future location.

FINDING GOOD HOMES FOR OUR DOGS is PRIORITY #1! We must get our numbers down, and ensure that they are all safely placed.
We will post a weekly BAROMETER to show you how many dogs we have in our care, and how many days we have left to find MIRACLES AND MAGIC.

We know times are tough, and there are so many who need networking - but please give our dogs a concerted PUSH over the next months? TOGETHER, the impossible becomes possible.

As at MONDAY 05 AUGUST, we have 118 days to find homes for 114 dogs. We have sadly had NO adoptions this last week.

Dear Supporters,

As many of you are aware, we are currently facing an incredibly challenging situation and are unable to take in any more dogs until we have successfully relocated. If you have not received a response from us, it is because we are in the process of rehoming dogs, dismantling enclosures (many of which must be left behind as they are set in concrete), and sourcing materials like strong fencing with minimal funds.

We urgently need R10,000 to construct basic living accommodations, with the lowest quote for this project being R10,000. Additionally, we require plumbing services to ensure we have water in our new section. More tarpaulins are necessary as it is impossible to dismantle five years of work in just four weeks. We also need to hire transport services to move salvaged items and install a solar system, which is costly but essential for consistent electricity.

Furthermore, we need to build storage facilities to safeguard our belongings from theft.

Sarabi Paws with a Cause, a dedicated home and rehabilitation center for special needs furkids, is seeking your support to raise funds for a permanent small holding for our rescues with psychological and physical challenges.
