Several years ago, our beloved black lab, Zoe, passed away from a rare and fast growing cancer. After doing some research, I learned that the “special treat” we had been giving her every night (just before she got sick) was made in China and more than likely contained carcinogens. We vowed to never again give our dogs store bought treats. Even treats that are made with “good ingredients” are still factory-made and can sit on store shelves for weeks or months.
