Cannot express how proud I am of this girl. The amount of prey drive she expressed when she came home on Sunday what so devastating. I was so scared of how hard it would be to train it out of her if even possible. But look at how happy she Is with the cats. She doesn't chase, she gently plays with them & yes even shares food. So incredible. I'm sorry for not replying to all the messages asking for advice on training, I'm so busy with her, I'll get back to everyone as soon as I can. 🧡

I shouldn't have to voice this, but I've had several message me asking my "breeding plans", for Rune.
To simply put it, there are none. I did not drive 1300 miles to add a breeding dog, I drove 1300 to save my baby. She has so far to go to be just a normal dog, she has so much to learn because she's scared of EVERYTHING, even the opening of a wrapper scares her. That being said, I will do what's best for her, the plan is for her to stay with us, regardless of if she's ever bred or not. But with her trauma, that's unlikely. If that ever changes, I'll of course let you all know. But don't bet on it.
We will be taking a step back from breeding, all of our time & resources need to be on Rune, so she can start living a normal life of love & comfort. It may be a while before we have litters again, if we even do. We will of course keep everyone posted on our pack & Runes adjustment. If we do start up again later, I will only be selling to those I can meet In person, & I will not be selling to breeders that I do not know personally. I hope you all understand. Thank you for your support. ❤️🔥

Yesterday at 1pm, vs today around 9am. We're an hour from home, there is NO reason she should've ever been in this shape, NO reason she should've been shaved. Caked In f***l matter & urine. I was able to do this while being exhausted driving 1300 miles round trip, being exhausted, sleeping in a car with her, what's her abusers excuse? We still have so far to go, so many mental wounds, more matting to get to, but she's not alone, no one will ever miss treat her again, cause she will NEVER leave me again.. 🙌💕

This is something I hoped was a nightmare, that O would wake up from. But getting her back today hit me like a ton of bricks. We lost Gypsy unexpectedly, just before Christmas. I'm still not ready to talk about it, & still don't know exactly how this happened, but please keep all of us in your thoughts & prayers. 💔🥺

We ended with 3 babies! We knew this litter would be smaller, as she wasn't showing like she usually does but we enjoy small litters. All pups are pending to our waitlist. Thank you. ❤️

Fae is in Labor, we have 2 babies so far, 1 Red Boy & 1 Red Girl. Mama is very protective, so no pictures yet. Will keep everyone posted.

Patch's age is starting to show, his face is getting gray, and it's killing me. I hope I still have a long time with him, but I know that day is coming and I will never be ready. 😭 I love my sweet big boy so much.

Fae turned 3 on the 25th and Bleu turns 2 today on the 28th. Time sure does fly. It's been crazy busy with school starting, but I'll get some updated pics shortly. In the mean time, wish my sweet babies happy birthdays. 😊 They're gonna be parents again likely in September. 🤗

I wanted to finally talk about this, even though it's still extremely hard for me to talk about; I want to post it because I know when people see things like this they think, "Oh that's so rare, or that could never happen to me," but I thought the same things, & here I am mourning the loss of my loved pet, over something completely preventable but so overlooked that everyone could make this mistake.
On July 15th, we lost our beloved Raven to a freak accident. We had decided to go out that day, have some fun as a family, we were gone maybe 5 hours. We had kenneled Raven as we always do when we go somewhere, something that's supposed to be for her safety; but never thought something so simple could end her life. From what we can tell, Raven had tried to escape her kennel and got her head out but when she pulled her head back in, her collar got stuck on one of the hooks, she panicked and turned over causing the collar to twist and tighten making it impossible for her to pull it off. When I got home, I immediately noticed what had happened and ran to her, cut her collar off and held her in my arms, she had been gone a while, probably at least an hour, so trying to revive her would not have worked. We were devastated, still are, she was my last piece of one of my childhood dogs Anushka, none of my other dogs have her in their lines. So it felt like I was losing Anushka all over again too. My 3 year old still asks about Raven, when Raven is coming home, telling me Raven was her hero, she still cries for Raven.
Raven was the sweetest girl, most sassy, and just goofy dog I had ever had. When we got her back after our trip to FL, we had missed her so much and decided no matter what, she would always be a part of our family, she was a heart dog. She rarely tried to escape her kennel, so I don't know what got into her, maybe pregnancy hormones? But the reason I'm sharing this, even though I'm sure I'll get hate, is in hopes to make others aware of the dangers of allowing your dog to wear their collar in their kennel. Maybe my post will save just 1 dog, so another family doesn't have to go through this. This is the 1st dog we've lost to anything other than old age, and it is so emotionally damaging which is why it's taken me over a month to come out about It.
Please still be respectful, as we are mourning, and will be hurting over this for a long time. 💔

Here is the plan for now: We are seeing a specialist tomorrow (Wednesday) it is quite a drive from our house, but they have great reviews and specialise in Neurology. 🏨❤ Just the office visit/consultantion is $125, (a normal vet is usually $40-$60. The exam will let the vet see her movements and how she acts, and we will go from there. The vet will likely recommend different tests, in which I will get the quote for. Once we have an accurate quote, we will start a Go Fund Me to help cover the costs. 🤎 It is possible that the Specialist will say the same thing as our normal vet, "We can't fix her." In which case at least we knew for sure that was the case and got a specialists opinion. & We will give her a wonderful last month of life. 🥺💜 If she can be treated but we can't afford it and the Go Fund Me won't cover it, we will offer her to someone who can afford it. Any proceeds from the Go Fund Me, (after covering our vet expenses), will go to the new owners, however we will not give the money directly to the owners, only directly to their vet, as we only want that money being used for Kheo, not other things. 👌💚 If all else fails, either she cant be treated, or she can and no one can afford it, and no rescue can take her; we will choose to proceed with end of life measures, as there will come a point where we have to realize I have other dogs and other vet expenses to take care of. I will do everything in my power to save her, trust me, she means the world to me. But I cannot go thousands of dollars into debt, and neglect my other dogs vet needs. We are not rich, we do not make a living off of our program. All our money we make (if any) goes into the care of our litter, and care of our parents and we even have donated to rescues in the past. We love Kheo, and will do all we can, I promise you guys that. 😔💖 We appreciate your on going love and support, please pray we get some good news at the specialist tomorrow... 🙏
