Young Skye today hitting the mark again in training. This young lady is almost ready to be leaving us and joining her handler. She in now fully imprinted and searching extremely confidently with live bodies in various venues and accompanied with a beautiful follow and solid indication. Going to be sad to see this wee girl leave us, she has been a joy.

Lovely progression from Red who has been with us almost four weeks. He is fully imprinted on the five main target scents he is trained to find and is searching with great confidence both on the frames and with live bodies.
We have worked extremely hard on his focus and indication which has now become extremely solid.
Few more weeks to go in his progression and working on following and indication with moving lines.

Week three for young Skye and coming along nicely. She now is on 4 target odours and her indication is shaping up well and being obedient to the odour.
Unfortunately this week I have been recovering from a chest infection so she back on search frames but is searching well on live bodies also. Progression the next couple weeks will be with her follow which she has already started.
Proud of this big boy yesterday. Magnus doing some distraction training during a passive search. A few months ago the volunteers would have been bowling pins.

Absolutely loving the search game, Maggie now also learning to work through distraction odours and being called away once she has indicated. This young lady is going to be a beautiful dog once she is finished.

One day of training left before their NASDU drug detection handler assessment next week, team Loki and Bronwyn absolutely smashing it today with moving lines and a great follow and indication. I am very proud of the level you have both been able to obtain😊
Day 9 for team Becks & Magnus today on their passive course and absolutely smashing it. Big boy worked hard today and coped extremely well with lots of movement and flow of bodies in the search area, well done team😊
Last week of training for 9 month old Maisie before she returns back to my client for more environmental training.
She has now been fully imprinted on all target odours and will free search people with very little tasking. This week I have now managed to work and strengthen her sit indication to where she won’t leave the target odour.
I look forward to seeing this young lady in a years time with some operational deployments under her belt.

What a difference a week makes. Young Maisie progressing along very nicely. She is now fully understanding target odours and remaining obedient to them. We will be progressing with adding live bodies and a sit indication in the coming week, well done young lady😊
