Hello, my name is Macarena Robledo and I live in Rancagua, a small city located in Chile in South America. Raised in a dog loving family, I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was a child, my parents bred afghan hounds, irish setters and beagles and while growing up I had many other breeds such as GSDs, yorkies or poodles. I always dreamed of someday having my own kennel and show
ing my dogs with success in the conformation ring, a dream I'm still working towards making a reality :)
I first fell in love with the PBGV when I watched Westminster Kennel Club dog show on TV. There I saw the beautiful compact and scruffy scent hound, a happy hound that made me want to meet one someday. I researched a lot for many years until finally on 2013 I imported the very first registered PBGV to Chile, my "Gelyte", a bitch that came from Lithuania and that started everything. Gelyte has been a very special dog for me: she was the first imported PBGV, the first Chilean Champion PBGV, and the dam to the first PBGV litter ever bred in Chile. Then I got to meet many important people in my way: Martyna Paliulyte from Alfa Kalibro Kennel (Lithuania), Iva Raic and family from Black Majesty Kennel (Croatia), Natascha Hochhold and Mak Dodan from Troublemania Kennel (Austria), Michael Rashid and Juan Jose Chota from Rashid Ram Kennel (Peru) and many other PBGV people that have taught me so much. And most importantly I have received the guidance of Juan Pio Milano, Rodrigo Quezada and Ramon Podesta, all dear friends from Von Haussman Kennel (Chile) that have supported me and guided me in everything I have needed and more. To all of those people, and my family who has to stand all of my dog madness, my deepest appreciation. At Kybalion we have had some really happy moments, but everything is just getting started... I'm always excited about what the future will bring!
