I am always excited to receive photos from Nalu’s mum. She takes such gorgeous photos and Nalu is such a great model! Here she is wearing her new wool coat, fitted with a harness opening so the harness can be worn underneath.

It's Goodbye from us... For now... 👋

I've just completed my final orders (except for outstanding sponsorship I have promised x). I'm finishing a little earlier than I had hoped but I can tell you that I have given it my all this year amongst countless other balls I'm juggling as a new mum, and other huge (good!) things we have achieved and are working towards as a family. And special thanks to my amazing mum who has given us both of her spare rooms and helped look after Finn so I could make every one of your orders 🙏💗

I am so proud of everything I have made for your gorgeous doggos, and they get better every year. Thanks to your support, feedback and sending me photos - it all helps me to deliver a better product!

It has honestly been such a huge year, and I am off to enjoy the rest of my maternity leave 🙈, as well as setting some personal goals for myself. We are also off on an overseas adventure in a couple of weeks! 🛩

I am still a message away for any customer service queries, but please don't ask me to make you anything - I do hate to say no! (but I'm working on it 😉).. If you have a gift voucher yet to redeem, please don't hesitate to get in touch, I will honour those.

It is very unlikely that I will reopen this year, but I'm sure I'll be back making your dog's their winter coats next year!

Happy Gotcha Day to our boy Aero! 🎉

We adopted him 6 years ago and he was the reason I started making dog coats again (I first started when I was a teenager for my foxy dog Poppy).

He is also the reason we are passionate about supporting local rescues in our work, since he was uplifted with his mum and 6 litter mates due to welfare reasons.

It doesn’t feel like we’ve shared 6 years already and we can’t wait to share many more 🐾 we love you big boy 💙🐾

~ ORDERS CLOSED ~

Hey everyone, apologies for this sudden announcement but with an influx of orders and my plate overloaded I’ve made the decision to close orders now.

I will be completing the current orders I’ve got in the promised turn around time (3 weeks) and then I am taking some time off to focus on family and other personal things for the remainder of my parental leave.

With the exception of anyone with a voucher (or any issues/queries!) - feel free to contact us via DM or email anytime, and we will be happy to help.

~ REDUCE REPAIR REUSE RECYCLE ~

Dodge got this Wool Coat almost 3 years ago and aside from a large rip in the front it still had plenty of life left in it!

His mum asked if I could repair the rip so she sent it back for a refurb! I totally replaced all of the fleece from the front and neck and widened it a bit while I was there. The strap needed to be lengthened too so he got a new strap and velcro, and I added a new label as his younger brother had chewed the old label off too 😅

All for around half the price of a new coat!

We love it when you choose to keep your dog coat going longer. It's all part of our passion for sustainability and slow fashion. The Wool was in such great condition still which shows what a great quality material it is, and that's why we choose to upcycle vintage NZ blankets and give them a new purpose! I can make several coats from one blanket which can last many years when well looked after and repaired if needed.
