Behind every reputable breeder is a lot of love, joy and hard work but also a lot of sleepless nights and tears.

Many of you know flare sadly lost her entire litter
This is one of those tough things a breeder may go through atleast once.

By the grace of god we have a survivor.
This is kitsune aka kit.
She has been hand fed and recently one of my shelties has decided to be her surrogate ❤️

This was flares last litter and we are so sad at the loss of the rest of the litter. Flare is older now,
And had a long labor and shortly after puppies were born they started to fade.
Flares milk was no good and she was going through milk fever which is basically when her calcium levels get dangerously low. By morning we realized what was going on and we were too late.
As puppies fade mamas know and When flare was not feeling well she would lay on them while we were sleeping because she knew they were not well.
We decided to separate flare from her puppies as it was best to keep her from nursing so they don’t continue to fade and also for her own well being so her calcium levels don’t drop.

Antibiotics, Incubation and hand feeding but we were too late

We are happy to atleast have baby kitsune alive and doing well she is such a fighter!

Flare is doing well and has recovered but cannot nurse baby kitsune

To all those who were so hopeful for a piece of flares legacy we hope it will live on with kitsune

We have Akame’s litter due soon who was bred to flares son Cayde(six)
So we are looking forward to cuddling those cuties when they arrive ❤️😇😘

We are hopeful kit will continue to do well as she’s just over a week old now and thriving ❤️🥰 the sleepless nights waking up every two hours to feed and care for her is worth it to see her cute little milky face everyday
Though she is nursing on one of my sheltie surrogates on the side she still needs formula and supplementation to feed her as much as she eats

Meet Coraline, this button eyed cutie was born with a pretty bad overbite accompanied also with base narrow lower canines that has not changed. it doesn’t bother her and doesn’t cause any difficulty eating, but knowing this will likely lead to some extractions or shave down of some teeth as she gets older coraline will beGifted to a past family. all others who don’t have a dog from us already will be “Low” to ensure she will be properly cared for. We have a contract that she must come back here if it’s not working out, this will be strictly enforced

She’s such a cutie with a great personality like all humans, she’s got cosmetic dental imperfections but she is as cute as can be! 🥰 we only want the best for her

A very difficult choice

Hello I’m Zelda,
I am retired and will be spayed, I am health tested and have never had any medical problems. I am a sweet loving girl who loves food, I am quiet and relaxed but I have my moments of wanting to be playful! I am great with other dogs BUT I have gotten grumpy with other females in the past, I wasn’t spayed during those times so mom says it may have just been my girly hormones so it could be different now.

I love snacks and head pats are the best thing ever! I also love string cheese and chicken!

More about me can be learned from my current mom, she also want to make sure she gets photos of me and updates, and if I’m too much for my new humans that I can go back home to mom anytime.

❤️ Zelda is so special and such a sweet girl, what’s one more.. a little more dog hair in the house… 🤔😉 reachOut anytime if she’s a match
