It all started with wanting to be healthy. This of course lead to wanting better quality food. I never would have imagined that I could have a green thumb or produce anything on a 4,000 square foot lot in the desert. Little did I know a whole new world was about to open up for me. Two years into this project, I have realized that self-sufficiency from food to health is really more than just that.
There's a strong sense of culture within the community. I realized, that I am not the only "crunchy, healthy nut" out there and that in fact, even the McDonald dweller's are beginning to notice how much their food lacks and harms. The food revolution has began. Fuel the fire within... go plant a salsa garden, go buy local honey, go vote with your time and your money. Food and health companies are hearing your voice. I buy meat from here. It is much better quality than what you would find in the stores. https://www.zayconfoods.com/refer/zf297933
This page is dedicated to living a healthier life style the sustainable way. It's about gardening, holistic alternative medicines, avoiding GMO's and other food like food products, and improving the quality of life. I am not a doctor or a lawyer. Please consult a doctor before trying anything new...blah blah blah... All land improvements should meet the city rules and HOA regulations where you live. I by no means live a perfectly healthy and sustainable life. However, I definitely do my best. A new way of life often takes time to build.
