We are purpose driven not profit driven!
We are real people with a real passion for making a real difference.
We often get asked "why are you so much stronger than other brands?".
The real question should be, "why are other brands recommending levels that are so low?" (The answer is probably obvious).
The reality is that we should be the norm not the exception but here we are 17 years later still trying to help loving dog & horse owners understand why the correct daily level of active ingredients is imperative for good joint health.
We don't do it as a gimmick or a selling point, and we certainly don't do it for profit margin. The reality is that our margins are tight because of the high and effective dose levels we provide. Gram for gram of active ingredient we are by far one of the most cost effective supplements out there. We do it because it's what's correct for joint health. We do it because we are ethical. We do it because we are integrity led.
I could launch our leading joint supplements tomorrow with a new name and new recommended levels at ¼ of what we currently recommend, with an RRP at ¼ of the price, and we'd turnover exponentially more stock than we do at the moment.
We don't because we actually care.
We don't because we are purpose driven not profit driven!

Are you getting the most out of raw feeding? 🌈🥩 Did you know their are HUGE benefits to switching up your pet's proteins? It not only provides sensory enrichment, benefit towards dental health and boosts vitality but it can also...
💚 Help prevent intolerances/allergies from developing
🧡 Offer a wider variety of minerals and vitamins
💛 Offer a wider variety of amino acids
💜 Provide different textures & tastes
❤️ Provide different energy levels relating to exercise & lifestyle
💡 How many different proteins do you currently feed? Find out: https://www.nutriment.co.uk/blog/post/why-vary-proteins-in-dogs (which proteins are entirely up to you depending on your pet's current dietary requirements).

You'll never look at the common stinging nettle the same way again! 💚 Often considered to be a nuisance w**d, nettle is actually one of the most versatile herbs when dried or cooked as the constituents that cause stings are only active when the plant is alive! 🌿 But this backyard botanical packs a powerful punch of nutrients, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that can help;
✅ Boost immune health
✅ Improve skin health (especially when boiled and used as a rinse)
✅ Reduce allergies
✅ Provide a good source of fibre
✅ High in protein
✅ Natural anti-inflammatory
✅ Support joint health
💡 Psst! It's probably why we include it in our Leo & Wolf, Fruit, Vegetable and Herb Mix - a complimentary feed to boost your dog's bowl (simply hydrate and feed).

Just remember to leave some for the bees (or opt for our Leo & Wolf supplement!) and avoid roadsides areas that may have been treated with pesticides. 🐝

Updated chart.
Some companies reduced their levels of active ingredients since we last did this so we've updated it to represent this.

Yes. Feeding a joint supplement before there are any apparent issues is beneficial!
Inflammation is not inherently bad. It's a product of the immune system. The immune system makes different proteins and amino acids (chemical messengers) that fights viruses, fights bacteria and heals wounds.
Inflammation in it's 'acute' phase is what our bodies are designed to do. So for example if you had a sport injury and your knee was inflamed, that's an example of acute inflammation rushing nutrients, healing, oxygen, and white blood cells to the area to repair it. This is normal, measured inflammation.
The body of any animal would struggle as a species without a normal inflammatory response.
It's when it turns chronic that it's a problem.
Chronic inflammation is associated with most health issues that we see.
When inflammation becomes chronic it sets off a cascade of issues.
Arthritis doesn't just appear over night. Although symptoms can seem like they appear very quickly, it is the accumulation of years worth of wear and tear before it gets to that point of chronic inflammation and the symptoms you see.
Ideally, we need to modulate and support the normal inflammatory process and this is why feeding a high strength joint supplement for maintenance, before the issue is symptomatic, is well supported and has sound reasoning behind it.
And the very reason we formulate products like Joint Plus Pro & Joint Plus HA, that offer high strength, targeted joint support, to keep your 4 legged friends happy & mobile.

NEW PRODUCT
Our new High Strength Omega 3 oil has just launched on the website.
This replaces our Salmon Oil.
It's rich in Omega 3 DHA and EPA (higher than the Salmon Oil) and is made using wild Icelandic fish.
This oil brings balance to your dog or cats diet by adding a rich source of omega 3, often deficient in today’s diet, essential for your pets health including their joints, heart, brain, eyes, skin, and coat.
It's a fantastic addition to our range and we hope you love it as much as we do❤.

Has your dog or cat tried them? 🐟 Often overlooked but a packed powerhouse of essential protein and nutrients... SPRATS.
These are a great topper to mix up meal times and add to your dog’s raw food diet, or as a completely unprocessed treat. But what are the differences between air-dried and freshly frozen sprats? ☝️ Well, they're both packed with protein and although the nutrients are more concentrated in dried sprats, you might want a low-fat option, in which case, frozen sprats are ideal. They're also beneficial for pets prone to dry skin over the winter time as they're a great source of omega 3 nd 6 fatty acids which help improve skin and coat.

*Typical analysis as fed.
