For most who have come here, it's well known that trying to find the float entrance is a right royal pain in the 🍑.

Lucky me 🥰 was gifted these massive signs as a wedding present and today we got around to getting them up.

Super grateful to the families who put in for us to get this. Much better than my dinky hand painted sign on the gates 😂 These can be seen from well down the road.

Please do not take this spot if you plan on cancelling last minute. My patience is wearing very thin with chasing people to drop horses off only to find out you changed your mind weeks ago. It isn't fair on other people waiting months and months to get in, to be called up last minute.

The yearly reminder

The support has been incredible, my phone has been ringing off tap with people checking in on Derby and me.

For those who didn't already know, unfortunately on Sunday night we lost the fight 💔 We were both exhausted and couldn't go on.

Derby was a very loved and very well known member of the KP team and his loss has left me devastated beyond belief.

Many of your horses out there who have been through the KP gates have either been ponied around by Derby or kept company by him in some capacity. He had a huge role here as everyone's support worker and his fun loving, cheeky character is being missed terribly.

For an 11ish hand pony he had the grit to pull around 14hh cobs for halter breaking and took no s**t from bitey colts. He was tough as nails even to the very very end.

Always loved, always missed.

It's been "one of those" weeks.

Not only battling many days of wild weather, but also doctoring my extremely sick pony who needed hourly attendance overnight before going into emergency surgery at the equine hospital (not out of the woods yet).

Today kicked off the Victorian All welsh show at Tatura where I've got the privilege of leading for Mosman Park pony stud.

Around all of this, I have also still been working as many client horses as I can before/after whatever storm cell, vet visit or classes I'm running a pony in.
It's a jumble and has been a headache for my brain to try and run this all smoothly as possible here at KP, but alas it's getting done and still to the same standard that I would usually hold.

I've been hugged tightly all week with so much support and I'm truly so thankful for the community I have all around me. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude.
This week brought me many challenges and I'm glad to be looking towards being on the other side of them.

My bandwidth is small and I've been replying when needed, not wanted. To those who are waiting to hear from me still, please take my lack of reply as me waiting until I can reply thoughtfully, and not half hearted. You deserve my proper attention and right now it's unable to be divided equally.

I'm exhausted beyond belief and I look forward to having a quieter day tomorrow at the show with my favourite people from Mosman Park.

I have a few owners to call when I can, but other than that, the work phone is getting well and truly switched off and put away until Monday. I thank you for your patience.

I've got lots on at the minute so apologies to those waiting on replies back from me.

There is lots of horses coming in and going out at the moment so the days have been long. As most of you know I'm a solo operator these days so unfortunately the tasks that I used to be able to handball off are still mine to tackle by the time I've worked through the 9 horses I'm training 👩‍💻📧 💩🧹 🧼🪣

Add in waiting for owners/or waiting for trucks to arrive, the days blow out very easily.
Back to normal soon as things settle into routine again 🐴

Just Donny blending into his natural habitat 🦎

Once upon a time a man told me I'd never be taken seriously because I kiss horses and wear pink 😇 How wrong he was! Training places available from late Feb / early March 2025.

Started my week off on beautiful pony Caesar, where we blew out some weekend cobwebs in the open paddock 😊🐎

Panda is starting to settle into her new environment here at Keyson Park. Trying her very best to be a good girl 🐼💖

I've been encouraged to start sharing more videos here so people can see the reality of what goes on in my life as a trainer. This horse here shows 2 weeks of progress, when he first came in he displayed serious aggression. He would charge at people with his mouth snapping like a parahna, come flying backwards double barrelling, strike out when patted etc. This horse has been handled in the past therefore this wasn't a case of him being wild/unhandled I am extremely proud of him for putting his trust into me and changing his ways. #horsetrainer #troubledhorses
