Started my week off on beautiful pony Caesar, where we blew out some weekend cobwebs in the open paddock 😊🐎
Panda is starting to settle into her new environment here at Keyson Park. Trying her very best to be a good girl 🐼💖
I've been encouraged to start sharing more videos here so people can see the reality of what goes on in my life as a trainer.
This horse here shows 2 weeks of progress, when he first came in he displayed serious aggression.
He would charge at people with his mouth snapping like a parahna, come flying backwards double barrelling, strike out when patted etc.
This horse has been handled in the past therefore this wasn't a case of him being wild/unhandled
I am extremely proud of him for putting his trust into me and changing his ways.

New fence, or the grid of death?
Taking Mr "dangerous, unpredictable and shouldn't be ridden" for a nice long rein cool off after our ride.
Check the comments for my sneaky tips on helping this "bucker" transform into a relaxed riding horse 🐎
Thankyou to his superstar owners who have trusted me and trusted the art of being patient.❤
Spilling me his secrets 🤫🫣
8? Or 9? Rides under saddle
How's the confident strut 👏
The Easter bunny misses no one and the horses got to have an Easter carrot hunt! This should provide them some healthy enrichment throughout the day🐰
Stay safe and be merry this long weekend everybody 🥕

TicTac Tuesdays, part 1!
Here we meet Tictac, read a bit about his past and dive into the beginnings of assessing him from the ground.
If you like watching paint dry, this is the video for you ;)
Next time on TicTac Tuesday, we'll see his reactions to having gear added, as this is when he is said to go off like a bomb. 🧨
Sorry about the music, couldn't work out how to remove it.
Bran mashes into all the horses tummies today 🫣
So what's the secret to making your Pivo fall inlove with you and want to watch you at all times 😍
Because despite many attempts, mine avoids me like I'm the bubonic plague.
Please help !
From a very frustrated rider trying to get owner videos 😂
So much space to get the racehorses moving and stretching. Our ground is soft and bouncy after all this rain, feeling super lucky to be able to work horses at home like this 😍
Got a horse that's scared of Velcro noise? Give this a go - sorted in no time
With enough confidence, they will tackle anything 💪
Want to make your horse quiet? Don't pussyfoot around and allow them to see anything and everything.
Casper today had to work behind, around, alongside and opposite the tractor slashing today. Did he like it at first ? No. But he got over it quickly when he realised he had more to concentrate on then some noise in the background 😂
How very on brand of me to do a third ride, blowing a gale, bareback, in an unfenced arena 🤣 good pony 👏
A new concept I've been trying lately with horses who can be a little halter shy is target training.
I'm not too perfect at it as I've only tried it with a few of my own personal horses but I'm enjoying learning the process and the results so far.
Here's a mare, who isn't actually hard to catch, but at times pulls her nose away from the halter.
Mixing up the reward with either a treat or a really good scratch in a nice spot to reduce them learning to be pushy or forming a nipping habit.
First time trying it today with her and I'm pretty happy with this outcome already.
First wander on the mini track 😝 Plenty to see and be exposed too. Will be a great training tool for all horses that come in :)
What's in the works now at Keyson Park? 😋
