Cormac - 10yr old 17h Imported Irish Sporthorse Gelding
Cormac is certainly a barn favorite here at Equinox Farm. He is relaxed enough for an amateur while being fun and smart for a professional to bring along. Scope to spare, brave with good form, a loose rangy mover, and slow comfortable gaits are just a few of the qualities we love about this guy! Cormac is great out trail riding and a dream to gallop cross country. He has experience at Novice level eventing and has some local jumper show experience through 1.0m. with scope for more! He loves attention and is very sweet to be around in the barn, making him a great family type horse. This past year Cormac was on lease to a young teenage girl who he introduced to eventing at the intro level.

Aubrey - 5 yr old, 15.2h + Connemara cross gelding. A great young horse with a soft mouth, who is a straight forward, point and shoot type that would be a great horse for an AA or a junior to do a little bit of everything with. Hunted great 1st, 2nd, and 3rd flight during the 2024 season and did a couple hunter paces. He could be a fun show project as well.

Looking for a nice hunt horse who could also do a bit of everything?
Meet Aubrey! He is a 5 yr old 15.2h Irish Draught x Connemara gelding.

Aubrey was bred and raised at the kennels in Ireland. He is kind and calm, safe and confident. He is remarkably straightforward with a nice jump and a happy demeanor. A fun project for an adult amateur wishing to bring one along, and a good example of the suitability of the Irish Draught/Connemara cross. He is sweet on the ground and would like to build a relationship with his rider. Under saddle he is relaxed, straight forward, and soft in the bridle. He has had a season hunting in the US with Millbrook in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd flight and is happy in any flight, will keep a gap, last on a long day, and spends most of the ride on the buckle. He is jumping and flating nicely in the ring, and is great out on the trails. He could easily be a 2 in 1 type that hunts as well as goes showing!

Looking for a great jumper mare? Meet Maggie! She's an 8yr old 15.2h Irish Cob mare.

Maggie is intrepid; She will go anywhere alone or in a group, a true point and go horse. A fun compact mare, with endless stamina and enthusiasm. Maggie hunted for a season in the US and has spent her recent time in the jumper ring with an adult amateur showing them the ropes. She is consistently bringing home wins in the .90m jumpers locally and has shown at HITS and Old Salem as well. She is competitive minded and loves the show atmosphere. She has an auto change and is happy to jump from any distance. She is happy to hang out all day on the show grounds, and gets right to work in the warm up and show ring. She is a very easy horse to live with at home and would be a pleasure to have in your barn!

We are looking for a working student to join our team at Irish Horses USA. We are training and sales program focused on producing quality young Irish horses for adult amateurs. We are located in Pine Plains NY, a beautiful small town about 90 minutes north of New York City. Duties will include helping to care for and exercise 15-25 personally owned imported Irish horses under a professional trainer. We Fox hunt, Event, and go to local jumping shows throughout the year. Private housing in a tiny house on property, salary to be discussed based on expeirience.
Applicant must be pleasant, personable, able to take instruction and serious about expanding their training and knowledge and have goals of making a career in the horse industry. *Please note we are unable to facilitate Visa requirements*

7 yr old, 16.3h Irish Draught mare
With a season of hunting in the US as well as experience in Ireland before import, Lauren has shown herself to be a sweet, brave, and surefooted mare. An excellent jump, lovely gaits, and a good brain are few of the traits we love about this mare. Although she has already shown herself to be a nice hunt horse, she has enough quality to go into the show ring as well. She has shown locally in the jumpers and we plan to do some equitation classes with her as well until she finds the perfect forever home.
