(23)

This page is for Lost & Found pets to be registered as missing & found, we also advice individuals with tips and ideas on where / how to search and advertise. I have had over 30 years working in a cat charity which included running their Lost & Found Register. If you wish to register a Lost or Found Pet, send me a PM and I will send a form to you for you to fill in. Once returned we will post the

information on the page for viewing and sharing. We would appreciate it if everyone who views the page would LIKE the actual page and not just the individual posts. This then will ensure a wider audience and an even better chance of reuniting Lost & Found pets with their owners. If anyone is rude or posts something offensive on this page their posts will be removed and if it continues, then they will be blocked.

Here is some advice about some Autumn Dangers 🍁

If you suspect your pet has eaten or been in contact with any of the below autumn dangers, please contact us straight away.

🍄 | Toadstools, mushrooms and fungus - Too hard to tell the good from bad, keep dogs away from them.
🌾 | Harvest mites -Tiny orange insects that can cause severe itching, especially in cat's and dog's feet and ears. Rabbits can also be affected.
🍂 | Autumn plants - Avoid having autumn crocus,
chrysanthemums and dahlia indoors or within pet
access.
🐀 | Rodent poison - Rodents want to be warm, and we don't want them in our homes, so poisons go out. Cats can eat the rodents and get poisoned; rabbits and dogs often eat the poison that is usually in the form of grains covered in blue or green poison.

Microchipping your cat is set to become mandatory in the near future. Cats will need to be microchipped by 20 weeks of age.
Microchipping your cat means if they get lost, the chances of been reunited is much higher.
As an owner you are responsible for keeping your pet’s details up to date on the microchip database.
You should update the microchip details of any new pet you get and change your contact details any time your phone number or address changes.
Make sure you ask your vet to check your pet's microchip annually (for instance when they have their booster vaccinations) to make sure it is still in situ and hasn't migrated.
