Did you know that lilies are extremely toxic to cats? Even a small amount—pollen, leaves, or water from the vase—can cause kidney failure.

⚠️ Signs of Lily Poisoning:
🚑 Vomiting or drooling
🚑 Loss of appetite
🚑 Lethargy or weakness
🚑 Increased thirst or urination (early), then decreased urination (late sign)

If you suspect your cat has been exposed to lilies, seek emergency care immediately! Time is critical. ❌ Keep lilies OUT of homes with cats!

On Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 9:00 am-11:30 am, our Exotics Department will be hosting a vaccine clinic for the rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus. Rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus type 2 (RHDV2) is a highly infectious and lethal virus that only infects lagomorphs, including rabbits and hares. The virus can be transmitted through direct contact (rabbit to rabbit) and indirect contact (via food, water, hands, shoes, rodents, etc).

The vaccine package includes a pre-vaccine health screen, microchip, vaccine and booster (at 21 days), and technician exam at the booster visit. Cost: $250.

To make an appointment or if you have any questions, please call 802-863-2387.
