**Puppy Update!**

I stole these photos from Margi 😂

Dixie is doing a fantastic job and is handling everything with ease. No surprises there! She’s just like her beautiful mumma, Rio.

The puppies have now passed the two-week mark and I’m sure Margi can finally breathe a little easier.

I can’t wait to come down and see everyone again …. brace yourself for puppy spam 😂

Flash back to Rio’s last litter 🥹

Rio was such a good mother. Very protective, but also nurturing. It's a full-circle moment watching Dixie with her first litter—keep swiping to see Dixie’s baby photo.

Not long to go now !!

We’re all super excited for Dixie and all parties involved. Peep at the x-ray taken today … my guess for 11 might be right 😉

The dogs involved in the pedigrees are exceptional, and we are excited reading back through the generations and the kennels behind us.

While unexpected events can arise, all breeders understand that some factors are beyond our control. However, knowing that both Dixie and Groover have excellent health and genetic results gives our puppies the best chance for a great start in life. Both dogs have scored well below breed standard on all their testing.

Both parents scored 0/0 on their elbows and even if we combined their hip scores, they would still be well below the breed standard, which is something we breeders should be proud of. Achieving such low scores is not an easy task.

Margi is about to have her hands full with this lot! 😂 Lynda and I wish her the very best. Raising puppies is a challenging task, and each litter brings its own unique challenges. Our hope is that everyone comes through strong and healthy, including Dixie 🤎
