Jellystone Bark's Rescue RANGERs have been rescuing animals since 2007. We have rescued over 65,000 abused, neglected and homeless babies with the assistance of our Rescue Partners throughout the Midwest. Our goal is to assist animals in low/moderate income areas and puppy mills (Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio) who have little or no hope of being rescued. We currently work with over 95

No Kill Shelters and Foster Based Rescues in the Midwest and are exclusive with many high kill shelters to save their babies. WHO WE ARE
Jellystone Bark's Rescue RANGERs are a licensed NO KILL Foster Based Rescue. We are a NOT FOR PROFIT (501c3). We are an all volunteer organization that spends every spare moment trying to save the abused, abandoned and forgotten ones and provide them with a second chance at a good life. OUR PHILOSOPHY
Rescue dogs are a friend for life. Before accepting any dog into your home please consider the emotional, as well as financial commitment necessary to give this pet a forever loving home. Please consider: Does everyone in the household agree to adding a pet? Can you afford the grooming, vetting, and training to help your new family member truly become a FOREVER member of your family? Often times a rescued DOG brings along their "baggage", and with this are old injuries and lessons learned in a previous unfriendly world. Are you prepared to love your new dog unconditionally and help him forget his "woes"? Dogs are loving and very social creatures. They do not make good outside family pets, they need, and want, to be a member of the inside "pack". We are here to help you find the right, forever friend for you. It is important that we honestly assess each situation to find the perfect "love connection", both for the potential adopter and the dog. We are searching for homes that are financially and emotionally able to commit 15+ years to our dogs through rough times, good times and all times. They are a part of your family and must be treated as such. REMEMBER: Rescued animals are by no means perfect or show quality. They can be from puppy mills, bad breeding, unwanted, abandoned, untrained or aging. Our dear friend and adoption advocate, Susan Dennison, is retiring as a foster from JBRR. Susan began fostering for Boxer Buddies over 20 years ago. When they dissolved she then worked with The Boxer Rescue. In 2010 she began fostering for JBRR. Susan has also assisted us with adoptions, fundraisers and rescue awareness. She’s been an integral member of JBRR and we wish her all the luck in her future endeavors. She still remains a part of the JBRR family in a less demanding role. We thank her and the entire Dennison family for their dedication to rescue and for all their hard work over the years. It takes a village. 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. They open their homes and their hearts to animals in need. They make sacrifices in their lives to care for abandoned dogs and give them the love and care that they so desperately deserve. When the dogs are adopted it’s not an easy goodbye, but they let their hearts break a little so that the dog’s hearts never have to break again.
