This last minute idea saved our orange tree! We ran out of frost bags and wanted very badly to save this tree. The last few years the freezes have severely damaged our trees. This baby was planted in 2017, it’s been through hurricanes, 100 yr floods and now 5 freezes and it finally fully survived one with minimal of any damage. Our other baby brother tree didn’t fare as well with those frost bags.

Fresh laid on 10/11-today. Eggs haven’t been washed and can last on the shelf for up to 3 months. Once washed please place them in the fridge or they may spoil.

The C & E Story

We’re a small family farm in the outskirts of Dickinson, TX. The farm started with the idea of teaching our children, C & E, about daily farm tasks, and the value of hard work. The oldest, C, helps with daily farm tasks, from cleaning the coop, to collecting and storing eggs. Our baby, E, helps with feeding the flock, and happily plays in the dirt while we work. Besides eggs, when in season, we also offer Texas Navel Oranges, Santa Rosa Plums, Celebrity Tomatoes, Heirloom Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Squash, Satsuma Oranges, and Misoh Mandarins, Rio Grande Ruby Red Grapefruit, Misty Blueberries, Sunshine Blueberries, Ouachita blackberry, Kiowa blackberry. Our pepper varity: Jalapeno, Cayanne, Habanero, Caribbean Red Hot, and Scorpion Red Hot peppers.

At the moment we offer:

Organic, pasture raised eggs Elderberry syrup, DIY Syrup kits, and Gummies.
