Hey all daddy here, Pardon the lack of posts. I have gotten to a place of more acceptance that Bella isn't here physically anymore but I haven't really had the strength to be cheery here. I don't wanna bring folks down but I of course still badly miss her, she is my soul dog and a piece of me went with her to the bridge. I have gotten ALOT more active with various AA meetings so I'm staying sober and doing the next right thing. Wish I could say I wasn't smoking cigs but at least right now staying sober is priority one for me. Life here is good though. Sissy is graduating pre-school this coming Friday morning so I feel positively ancient but My sponsor reminds me often that things like this are a gift of sobriety and he's quite correct. anyway this page isn't going anywhere and ill do my best to be more active here. Love each and every last one of you and the little family we made around an amazing pup

Hey all!! Bella from the bridge again, we all looked out for Daddy today. He didn’t know his own father well so father day has always been hard for him and it’s also his first without me to cuddle him. BUT mommy and sissy made it a good day and the Red Sox won the first Sox Yanks series of the season!!! So he’s going to bed happy

So something that will warm everyone’s heart. Our bed has felt empty since Bella went to the bridge. She had her spot and her own pillow for many years. Well Lorelai has recently started coming into our room at night and has settled into Bella’s old spot. I wanna think that’s Bella in action and that she would more then approve

Folks I have horrible news, one of my oldest friends is here with me at the bridge , little Tanner passed away. I’ll look out for him, we will romp and play and watch the Red Sox and look out for his momma.

Hey everyone! Bella from the bridge reporting in! I am LOVING how well my Red Sox are playing so far this season!! Me and Auntie Melissas pup Mookie and A day in the life of Minnie's Little Sister Haley are watching every game!!! Reporting in on sissy, she is potty training now and doing so good so far!! Daddy, as he puts it, feel into a job he forgot he applied for for a store manager Job at our local Lids (for those who don't know its a hat store that sells hats and Jerseys for all sports!) and is super excited!! he gets to wear Jerseys and hats to work and be well paid to do it!! Also we totally forgot to tell you all it's Mommy's birthday today!!! Things are going super well here!! Also one last report for our bestest friend Woozle's Momma, I finally FINALLY have gotten to hang out with Woozle and Sammy and they are amazing!!!

Daddy here again, we got requests in the past for an Amazon wishlist for Bella and if you all where so inclined Lorelai's birthday is coming up in August and I had the thought of putting one together for her if anyone is game? Not mandatory by any means and as im sure you all know she's well provided for but if anyone was so inclined she has her daddy's big old noggin and her mommas big old feet so her shirts get stretched out quick and she goes through shoes quick lol

Hey all, daddy here. It's been a LONG 9 weeks without Bella. I haven't been doing well but have come to a place of acceptance that she's not physically here anymore. Every time I watch a Sox game so far this season I feel her here with me. Today also marks 10 years since a very close friend of mine passed away as well. BUT I did something that was a first for me in nearly 18 years sober that I haven't had the opportunity to do yet. I was able to bring a sponsee through the 12 steps. It was an amazing experience for both of us and there is nothing recovery related quite like see that light flick on in someone's eyes and I saw that first hand with my guy today. I was taught that the best way to get out of my own head is to be of service to someone else and that's what happened today. In other news I honestly had the passing thought of taking this page down but I discussed it with Ashley aka Mommy a bit ago and she as usual was correct. You all have followed our family for many years now and are as far as we are concerned an extended family for us. We aren't going anywhere and Bella's memory will be kept alive here as long as Facebook exists. Thank you all for your support these last few weeks not to mention several years, its meant the world to all of us!

Hey all its Daddy. Been coping ok. Coming to a place of i dont really wanna say acceptance more of learning to live without Bella here physically, if that makes any sense. Ramping up to give quitting smoking yet another shot and I have stayed sober through all of this. I miss her horribly but self destruction isn't the answer, living a good life is the best way to honor her memory.

Hey everyone, it's Bella from the bridge. I'm spending time with some people who are really important, daddy's grandparents, his first AA sponsor Charlie and his dad Harry. We all convinced Daddy he needs to take some time and recharge. He put in his notice at work and is going to double down on therapy and meetings, enjoy baseball season uninterrupted and spend sissy's summer break with her. Another big thing daddy is going through is he misses sissy badly. Then come fall he's finally going to go back to school. He wants to be the best dad, husband and him he can be and he knows he hasn't been doing any of those things well lately and we are all worried about him. He left work early today just to hang out with mommy and sissy at the park today, yesterday he surprised sissy by picking her up from school and he was happier then he has been in a long time! He's trying hard to dig out of the pit he's in and I'm trying to help as much as I can. He has some amazing guardian angels and as Neil Peart, daddy's hero wrote, he's working them overtime
