Miss Honey is sweet as can be, and all she wants is your unconditional love. Honey would love an active family who enjoys spending their time outside, doing all of the adventurous things like hiking and going for long walks. She'd also be content with some lazy days consisting of snacks, naps and netflix.

Honey gets along great with people of all ages and would love some kiddos to keep her company in her new home. Honey gets along well with other pups as well!

Honey is up to date on her vaccines, and will be spayed, and microchipped upon adoption

Hi, I’m Alex!

I’m the owner and trainer (and the everything else😂) of Liggett Dog Training!

I got my start with training dogs when I really felt like I couldn’t control Razz, the brown dog on the left, outside of the home.

I felt that I was part of the problem, too. So, I worked really hard to develop the discipline and skill to fix the problems we had. Now, she helps me work with other people and dogs to accomplish their goals of enjoying life together, too!

Cooper, my other dog in the photo, also helps! He’s really great with everyone, and just happy to be involved any way he can. 😍

Just wanted to say hello and let you know I’m so excited to work with you and your dog! And, I wanted to share a few things about the business if you’re new here:

EMERGENCY PLAN : With all of the flooding lately, I felt this was important!

1) Understand the possibilities. Recognize the different types of natural and man-made disasters that can occur in your area and know how to effectively plan for them.

2) Plan your response. Different disasters require different courses of action. The sooner you create a disaster plan, the more time you have to prepare.

3) Update identification. Make sure your pet wears current identification at all times that includes their name, rabies tag and your cell phone number since you will not be at home.

4) Keep your pet’s records handy. Create a file for each pet that contains health history, vaccination dates and a recent photo. Keep the file in a safe and secure place.

5) Research animal-friendly places. If a disaster forces you to evacuate, the best thing you can do to protect your pets is to evacuate them as well. Know where you can take your pet in the event of an emergency. Evacuation shelters and pet-friendly hotels outside a 60-mile radius of your home are good places to start.

6) Stock up on emergency supplies. Keep extra leashes, bowls, newspapers, trash bags, cat litter, litter pans and at least a five-day supply of pet food and water on hand. Be sure you have a pet first aid kit as well.

7) Get a carrier. Have a properly-sized pet carrier for each pet. Carriers should be large enough for the pet to stand up, turn around and lie down comfortably.

8) Communicate your plan. Make sure that the other people you rely on for your pet’s care, like your pet sitter, are privy to your specific pet-care plan in case you are away from home when a disaster strikes.

What is a microchip?
A small device, that is no larger than a grain of rice, that is placed under your pets skin. Each chip has a number specific to itself, which is what links them to your account with your contact information.

What are the benefits of a microchip?
- It is a form of permanent identification.
- If your pet is lost or stolen there is a much greater chance of them being returned to their proper home.

A common misconception is that they are used as a tracking device. If an animal is lost/found and they are brought into a vet clinic, or often a shelter, the staff will scan them with a device reader.
