Pepper and Salt are a bonded pair of six-year-old Domestic Long Hair sisters in Hellertown, PA, with plush gray tabby coats and hearts as soft as their fur. These 15-pound beauties are the definition of affectionate! Following you from room to room, chiming in with sweet meows, and snuggling into your lap whenever they get the chance 🐾

Salt is the bold snuggler with a darling white diamond on her forehead, while Pepper is a little more reserved, but with patience, she blossoms into a loving shadow who melts into your arms. Playful and gentle, they adore laser toys, window bird-watching, and even nibble blankets while kneading!

Spayed, vaccinated, and on a special diet for sensitive tummies, they’re great with dogs and kids, and would thrive best in a cat-free home.

Fostering is life changing, for the kitten you foster and FOR YOU... the hardest part is saying goodbye. When I wonder why I would put my heart through this over and over again, I simply have to remind myself that if I didn't step up and save the kitten at risk, she would have been euthanized. The pain of knowing that our city shelters are euthanizing kittens is just too much to bear (and a lot harder to deal with than saying goodbye to a kitten I have loved who is now going to live and be loved by a new family). That's why I foster and hope to share stories, photos and advice with other foster pet parents.
