I didnt even get a chance to list this guy on the page. Nico has sold! Lightly started under harness this summer, saddled a couple times then i left him for the fall/winter. His personality wasnt quite what i was wanting for the kiddos birthday parties and such, much more fitting for one person dedicating their time to him, and putting him to work.

Aponi handled her first time being saddled well. It was a good session, all gaits, freely moving, quick and responsive

November was a good month. The two year olds got saddled for the first time.

Yukon did great, had a buddy to encourage forward movement around the round pen. Walk, trot, lope, turns inside and out. Sacked out with the flag and stirrup slaps.

Billie has sold!

Thank you for all the interest, he is off to get a solid start as a driving horse, and get riding and packing in the mountains.
Think he will thrive!

2017 Percheron x Halflinger gelding, Billie

Standing 14-14.1hh, nice and stout, a “short king” some may say.

Started under harness with a mate, I have not personally hooked or drove him. Utd on deworming and farrier. He is good with his feet. Has had his ground work touched up lots this summer. He disengages hind end, crosses over on the front end, flexes side to side. Lunges nicely. Ties for hours and even hobbles. Loads and trailers too. He has been saddled a few times and handled himself very well. Ground drives at w/t, whoas good. He is very sensible. Desensitized with ropes, tarps, flags, will continue to work him as I can. He is ready to get started under saddle, now is the time.

We welcomed Nico earlier this summer. Little 11hh gelding. He has had lots of time tethered in the yard, some ground work and desensitizing here and there. He really has come a long ways. Handled being saddled, now to get him harnessed.

Second drive for Princess today

Princess finally got teamed up with Raven and we went for our first drive yesterday! She handled everything so well. Excited to have another pony to drive.

Have made lots of progress with Billie and his ground work this summer. Saddled a few times, he has been a total gentleman to work with.

Navy has found her new home! Going to be grandkids’ dream pony 🦄

Navy is a Welsh/Quarter Horse. Her sire is the beautiful blue roan, WR Champy Blu Lena, from 2U Bar Farms. Her dam is a black welsh pony. Navy is in the process of being registered with the Half Quarter Horse Registry, her papers will be available to buyer when they are received. She should mature to the 13-14hh range, and be built thick.

Navy is a very sweet and curious filly. She approaches me in the pasture, leads well, stands tied, responds to pressure, yields hind quarters and front end. Good with ropes thrown around her and dragging around her feet. She has not had her feet picked up, they are worn down from being on pasture though. She has now been out on pasture for over a month and is looking GOOD!

Navy had a consistent 30 days of being worked with daily, catching, tieing, brushing, desensitizing in May.

Look whos back!

3yrs ago i sold Shakira to long time friends and they loved and cared for her so well. They offered her back to me and i couldnt say no! Out of all the horses i have sold in my life she is the only one i really kicked myself for letting go. With all the things life brought me in that time i could have really used her. I have complete trust in this horse, and i am so happy i get to enjoy her.

She is home and here to stay now 🥹💕

The ol reliable

Alaska has been my mount this summer. Been a long 3yrs of not being in the saddle (heart surgery, recovery, pregnancy, c section, recovery, more health issues) its been a long road for me. But being able to swing a leg over this girl and regaining my strength has been a god send. She is such a steady eddy.

He sure hs been a pleasure to have this summer. So dependable, hook him up single or as a team and he is happy to go to work. He has also joined Blink and has done a parade this summer and Blink & Friends pony parties! He sure loves the attention.

Navy

Early this year we added this beautiful quarter pony! She is only a yearling, wasnt handled much. This spring I did a lot of ground work with her and got her pretty confident and quiet with people. She has now been kicked out to pasture for the summer.

She will be registered with the half quarter horse registry. Going to be one fancy pony! The breeders have her full sister that was born this summer. If anyone was looking for a fancy future pony team they could scoop both of them up!

Welcomed this guy in April! He is a percheron x halflinger gelding, and stands only 14.2hh, just how i like em! He is a gentle soul, have done some ground work and he is smart and sensible. Will he a great mount one day. Looking forward to him.

Had to take a hiatus from posting. My apologies.

My heart breaks again writing this, but we had to say goodbye to Sprite. She was put down April 24th due to a broken pelvis and shoulder. Was the hardest goodbye I have ever done. Miss her daily. She was sure special thats for sure 😢

All went well, all thats left is a few habits from being a stud (stud piles, and tries to be herd boss, fails lol) Spyro has a great demeanour, good to catch, tie and brush. Has good ground manners. He has been ponied behind my mini team and now started under harness. Would be a great pony for someone wanting a driving project, he has some jam to him and would gladly work.

Aponi! This cute 1/4 Appy, 1/4 Arab, 1/2 quarter horse is such a beauty! Cant wait to see her bum spots once she sheds out! Looks like more dark spots are coming through! Will be 2 next month, she is so dainty, so will likely be left to grow this summer.

Ezekiel enjoying his scratches to help with the spring itches lol He is finally getting curious and sticking around rather than running off when nervous or scared. Slowly but surely.

Turned all the crew out together the other day, yard is gonna be a mess soon with all this warm weather, easier to feed them out on the pasture. Think they enjoyed themselves lol
