Our History

I have always had a love for animals of all kinds, never has a day gone by when I haven’t had a pet in my life. I have always rescued my animals and after adopting my first chinchilla (Peony) I decided to try my hand at making her own treats because reading the backs of the pet store treats there was just way too many ingredients that weren’t needed. I fiddled around with my recipe until I found one that worked great! I only use the best ingredients so you know what your pet is getting is healthy and won’t make them sick.

Then after adopting my next two chinchillas and making it a trio (Pippa and Peanut) I invested in a double critter nation cage. I didn’t like how hard it was on their feet so I decided go play around with my sewing machine and make something for them. At first I tried liners...but they smelled because I had no absorbent layer silly me! So I added zorb in and ewww they smelled after just a few day. So again I tried something else this time I added uhaul and it worked great! I add two layers of uhaul in all my fleece liners!

Still it wasn’t enough, I mean carpet for our feet and wooden furniture in our homes wouldn’t make us very happy and comfortable...right? So I started making cozies like cuddle cups for them to lay in, they loved them so I made even more items! I make them hammocks, cubes, tunnels, and even more! You can hang them from the cage or just set them in there and the best part is they are all machine washable!

After making these things for my own pets I decided to bring them to the community and see if anyone else would enjoy them! If you’re anything like me you want your pet to be happy, healthy, and comfortable!
