Hi everyone! We haven't been too active lately, and we're going to be a little scarce for awhile yet. As a military family, we have to move every few years to a new duty station. Moving can be stressful, so taking care of yourself and each other is vital during the relocation process. Cinder The Berzerker and Ruckus The Berzerker are experienced military family members - a good ear cleaning makes for some wonderful relaxation for the cleaner and the clean-ee! Be well everyone!

We're a few days behind, but Happy New Year! 🥳🎉
We had a winter storm last week that caused a 5 day power outage and broken trees. But the Berzerker pups had fun in the snow!

What's a Berzerker, you may ask?
The word may bring to mind the elite Viking warriors known as berserkers, who were fierce fighters, wore animal skins instead of armor, and had a legendary frenzied fighting style. That frenzied style lent us the term "berserk". But that's not the kind of berserker we're talking about.
Our beloved Berzerkers (with a z instead of an s) get their name from that high speed frenzied focus they can have. But they wear their own fur (because they're dogs, haha!), and go berserk for tennis balls, squeaky toys, rope pull toys, walks, romps in the back yard, dinner, snacks, belly rubs - you get the idea. They have a special doggy passion about life! Everything is exciting, everything is an adventure, everything is maximum effort! They're extra energy, extra inquisitive, extra funny, extra snuggly - you know, just EXTRA.
There's the argument of nature vs. nurture. Some say a dog's personality and demeanor come from their breed. Breed certainly can play a part. A purebred German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois can be full-blast - but so can a mixed breed rescue pup!
Some say it comes from how they're trained. Dogs are smart and love to learn and work with their humans, so training is definitely a very important and big part of how they develop as individuals.
Others say they get their personality from their owners. As dog owners with edgy, quirky tastes, goofy senses of humor, who like to combine fun with function, we've raised our dogs with heavy doses of silliness and boisterousness mixed into our structure.
So, we think it's all of the above!
I began to make our Berzerkers' collars when I wanted something fun and unique. A Berzerker just needs something with some s***k, edge, or humor. They need accessories that reflect their fun energy. And I knew our Berzerkers can't be the only ones of their kind! So I started making collars for other dogs, too. Because Berzerkers come in all shapes, sizes, breeds and blends!
