Coming soon to eat all the food in my apartment...Little Baby Nightmare! At 14 months his back legs are a US women's size 7 shoe. It is a bit like Cinderella and Prince Charming. The only difference is that this Prince Charming might p**p in the shoe.

I asked little baby Nightmare which one he wanted for his birthday. The little guy chose to sample both the willow basket and the palm leaf bowl. I did buy both for him.
I weighed him today at the rescue...12.12 pounds! I'm sure he will gain a few more pounds 😃

Hi friends! We have some VIPs joining me soon. The family will grow to include a 10 to 12 year old grump who adores me...Spritz the Dutch mini Rex. The other is a handsome, mischievous Flemish Giant who turns one whole year old today...little baby Nightmare. Nightmare thinks he is tiny amd loves to be cradled. Both boys are amazing in their own ways.

Exciting news friends! Two new boys are joining the crew! Mr Spritz the 10 to 12 year old Dutch-mini Rex is a grump and he absolutely adores me! He is blind, old, spunky and makes me think of Cesil. I love him too much!
Little baby Nightmare turned a whole year old today. He thinks he is a tiny baby and loves to be cuddled. He is all mischief and is hilarious.
Spritzie is coming home first and Nightmare will be joining Tobias at outreach events.

Jovie and baby llama-corn are anxiously awaiting for the vet to give her a check-up and her annual RHDV2 booster. Right now she has her face tucked under my elbow. For a spicy bun she does have some anxiety.

My heart has joined the thousand for my Anna Binks stopped running today.

I brought her home a month ago and lost her yesterday. She was an absolute terror when she was first at the rescue several years ago. Binks and I came to an understanding where she wouldn't bite me and I was going to take her home. Then something unexpected happened and a woman adopted her, naming her Anna. She sent me pictures of her at home. She was happy and played with cats. She was sweet and loving for her new mom.
A little over 2 and a half years later Anna was returned to the rescue through no fault of her own. The moment I found out she was back and saw her I decided I was bringing her home. She was biting pretty much everyone at the rescue. I spoke softly to her and called her by the name she lived with. She allowed me to pet her. The next week she allowed me to pick her up. Then I lost Moneypenny and couldn't bring Anna home until I grieved and cleaned up my baby's house. Anna finally came home and she was magic. She was sweet and clean and amazing. She was my tv watching buddy while she was here. A lump popped up on her jaw and grew rapidly. I was told to prepare myself in case it was cancer. I left her at the rescue Sunday so she could go to the vet. I prayed hard and asked Lucky Charms to watch out for her and help her transition over the Bridge if it was bad. Last night I received the news about the aggressive cancer in her jaw and that the merciful decision was made to let her go. I am thankful for the care she received and the love she gave. My heart just hurts so much right now. 2 losses in 2 months is a lot for me. I miss you Anna Binks and I love you.

Jinx had a great vet visit! She had her RHDV2 booster. She would like someone to call Sarah McLaughlin though...her diet is working and she will continue to be on it. Jinx wants the diet to be over. We did go to Petco after the vet to get a special Oxbow Animal Health treat and to get some extra socialization.

I had Saturday off from my 2nd job. Jovie benefited by spending the day and night in the hall. She ran almost non-stop for 6+ hours. There was an epic flop and roll and roll and roll and roll. She did endless running binkies. Finally at midnight she settled down. Lucky Charms was the same way...full of energy her entire life. I am thinking this must be a Dutch trait. Keep flying my 7 year old Jovie Jane!

I want to thank everyone for your kind words and love. I'm still struggling and missing Moneypenny every day. I do have some happiness to share...Jovie celebrated her 7th birthday on October 10th and Tobias celebrated turning 4 today! They are truly made of love and light and mischief!

My heart has joined the thousands for my Moneypenny stopped running today.

My queen has left me. She passed around 10:15 pm on August 31st at home. I am devastated. She was funny, sweet, opinionated, mischievous amd incredibly smart. She has been the center of my universe for 7 years. She was 7 years, 6 months and 16 days old. She's gone and I'm lost. The moment I received her at the rescue I knew she was mine and I was hers. I named her for a James Bomd character. She was more like the newer Moneypenny and not the original. You wouldn't see her looking to flirt with James Bond. She was poorly her entire life. No one thought she would see 3, let alone 4 or 5 or 7 and a half. I am proud that she thrived with an autoimmune disorder, severed arthritis, malabsorption, chronic ear issues and a number of other issues.
She loved her princess butt towel, snack mat, stroller rides, the original food cart rider at the rescue, staring down dog's, cuddles, being ancient Egyptian royalty, my heart and soul. She was perfect. She was one of the cut puts at the Cardinal baseball games the first year of COVID.
Please raise a glass of your beverage of choice (tonight it is chamomile tea). I don't feel.her spirit at home so I k.wo she crossed the Bridge and isn't looking back. I love you for eternity my Moneypenny!

Mr Tobias has infections in both ears and a little clog in hos eye lid. The little guy is on ear meds twice a day, eye drops twice a day and pain meds twice a day. We go back for a recheck in 2 weeks. Everyone expects a full recovery. He also chamrwd my trainer Wednesday night. Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and love! We appreciate you more than I can express!

Mr Toby is going to the vet on Wednesday. His ear is giving him some trouble. She will get him started on meds and all will be well.

Mellie's first stroller ride! I wanted to go for a walk after 2nd work tonight and I didn't want to go alone. I have a really sore shoulder so managing most of my bunnies was a bit much. Mellie is tiny so the carrier was still light enough for me. She wasn't fond of the ride. We stopped a few times so I could check on her and pet her. I'm not allowed to pet greatness at home, but on the ride it was acceptable. She is small but fierce! I see more rides in Mellie's future!

The queen of my home, Moneypenny, is enjoying her dinner and a freshly cleaned pen.
I still don't know how we've made it to 7 years 5 months old! Don't ever count someone out because they are old and have illnesses. This girl has been defying the odds since she arrived at the rescue. It is a privilege to be her home. Please consider the pets who are overlooked or are shy the next time you are adding a new fuzzy family member! Good night friends. Moneypenny sends her love. ❤️

I was able to get Mellie to sit with me. She tried to do a murder on me and then melted into a cuddle bug as soon as I picked her up. She's so tiny and so intimidating!

Jovie really loves goodnight cuddles. She is helping to heal the hurt of losing my best cuddle bun Cesil. I think Jovie knows I need her just as much as she needs me. She makes my heart happy.

Jinx appreciation post!!! Hi friends! My beautiful Hi-Jinx decided that food was optional yesterday. She was given the hallway for running and just wasn't feeling up to it. I followed our protocol for a rabbit who won't eat. I know what to do. However, with this being Jinx I wanted reassurance. We went to my friends' home. Jinx visited with cats and received kisses from a very sweet doggo. She started eating while we were there. Today the girl is eating and p**ping like the miracle that she is. Thank you to Heather, Andrew, Libby and John!

Someone is enjoying some run time in the hall while plotting how to get over the baby gate to eliminate Tobias. Jovie has a lot of energy and some issues with anxiety. All my bunnies currently get CBD once a day.
Any ideas on how to calm Jovie and Mellie? Poor Tobias keeps trying to make Jovie girlfriend number 4. She isn't interested.

Jovie wanted to say goodnight to all of her new friends. Since coming home she has started doing lots of binkies and massive flops! She is a happy girl!

Happy Friday friends! You know that feeling when you wake up in the middle of the night and can tell something isn't right?
Well, that happened to me last night. It turns out Tobias decided to help himself to the box of orchard grass even though he had plenty in his designated hay area. I guess a 2am snack tastes better when you are out and about?

Well friends...I brought home another special sanctuary bunny! This darling Dutch is Miss Jovie. I was terrified of her when she was at the rescue. She went into a foster home and unfortunately she had to come back to the rescue. She was loved and valued. Sometimes things happen we can't control...this one of those situations. Jovie went straight to our head bun's house. Jovie literally does not like anyone except her previous mom.
The 1st weekend there she tried to take my fingers off. The next week. I got her out of her house so she could run. The next week Jovie decided that I am her person. At almost 6 years old she is with me in her forever home. She is a great cuddles! Please welcome Jovie to the CeCe No Ears family.

Mr Tobias when he was still in the med room at the rescue. The messy little toothless punk came home a month later and never left. He was only supposed to be with me for 3 weeks. Now Tobias Silas Jones is a semi-free roam bun.
