Happy Thursday! Lately, I have been making my own shampoo for Rocket and wanted to share the recipe with you. It is simple to make and free of any toxic ingredients. It smells “clean” but isn’t scented because I have heard mixed research on whether essential oils are actually safe for dogs. You Will Need: 1 cup water 1 cup pure-Castile liquid soap (unscented) 1/4 fractionated coconut oil Combine all three ingredients in large jar with tight fitting lid. Shake well before using. To give Rocket’s fur an extra shine I spray him with a mix of water and almond oil (1 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon pure almond oil.) Combine and put in spray bottle. Comb through and let dry. 🛁 Enjoy!
