Today was chemo day at Animal Cancer Care Clinic. Po came along for the ride and we hit the drive through on the way home. Thanks for the snacks Chick-fil-A Palm Bay Road and Promise Doggie Treats!

Lottie’s CT looked great! She has no signs of metastasis and her urethra appears improved compared to the previous CT scans. The number of mutated cells on her Cadet BRAF test has increased which is a bit discouraging however in speaking with the oncologist, this isn’t necessarily a prognostic indicator.

The most important part is that Lotus is doing awesome clinically! Last month we switched her back to her normal diet (before her diagnosis we put her on a urinary diet) and her vomiting has improved. Her stool has been normal also. She’s energetic, happy, and living her best life.

Next we have to investigate her new heart murmur. We have an appointment with a cardiologist in a few weeks.
