Dogs and rainy days-they love to run and splash, but then their humans keep them in because they leave a trail of muddy paws through their home.

Dogs don’t see a problem. So, what to do to keep them happy on rainy days and your house free from muddy paws?

Play games inside. Tug of war, teach them a new trick using a tasty lure, fill a box with lots of smelly treats and hide them so they have to sniff to find them and/or cuddle while you watch a dog show together.

My Irene likes to watch shows with dogs and other animals. For example, All Creatures Great and Small on PBS. My little dogs love to dance with me to music. Their favorite - Who Let the Dogs Out.

So, how do you keep your dogs happy on Rainy or Snowy days?

Starting January 1, 2022 - I will have a blog that will talk about my life with animals - dogs, cats, coyotes, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, geckos, etc. As I look back, I should have been a zoo keeper, lol!
