JUST A REMINDER, TO ALL DOG OWNERS.

⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the UK die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.

• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.

• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.

• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.

If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.

Please keep your dogs out of the R**e 😢

❌ RAPESEED! ❌

It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the midst to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!

R**eseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

R**eseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:

❌Haemolytic Anaemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog was reported to be suffering from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!

Please be aware, we have been alerted to the fact there have been cases of Parvovirus in the Norfolk area.

Please be extra vigilant for any signs of illness in your dog/s especially vomiting and/or diarrhoea.

If your dog shows any signs of illness, please do not bring them to any of our events(or take them anywhere that they are likely to spread it to other dogs). The best way to prevent the spread of this awful disease is vaccination, so best make sure your dogs are upto date or titre tested as having immunity.

It has taken me this long to be able to post this - sadly on the 2nd December, my oldest dog Saffy made the decision it was her time to go 💔😢

She was a friend to several of my walked dogs over the years. A gentle soul with the heart of a lion.

Please be aware of grass seeds at this time of year - check paws, in between toes and underneath pads, check eyes and be aware of uncontrollable sneezing!

These 2 ghastly grass seeds have just cost £1100 to have removed from the nasal cavity of a friends working cocker spaniel!

I’m not sure of the validity of the claims, but be careful when walking your dogs on Beccles Common please.

Just do your own research - ‘claims’ of 6 dogs dying after being walked there.
