Georgia The Pretty Pittie's Legacy Georgia was the best pibble duchess who enjoyed blankets, pillows, and everything comfy! Unfortunate Georgia is one of those babies. She is our Duchess!

From Foster Mom: Some rescues just touch our souls to the core. Not because she has a bad story or a sad past, because we don't quite know her past except that she was found in the Pasadena, TX. area as a stray with a broken rope tied around her neck. It was very evident that she had lived her life outside on concrete, tied up most likely. And it was also apparent that she had birthed many litters

of puppies. But what makes Georgia so unforgettable like the song "Georgia On My Mind", is the fact that she is so darn sweet. Everyone that meets Georgia falls in love with her and she with them. Georgia loves all dogs (big and small) and all people - kids especially. Cats don't seem to phase her either. Her favorite things to do are go for walks, chase squirrels and lizards and go for rides in the car. She loves to play with toys and play Hide 'n Seek. She's just a laid back girl that is happy doing whatever her special someone is doing. She is quite funny too - personality plus and always making them laugh. From Momma:
We fell in love with Georgia long before we were able to adopt her, and most likely before she was even in a foster home. Unfortunately at the time we lived in an apartment that did not allow bully breeds. We rescued our other dog Bruce who we thought was a lab/boxer mix because he was so skinny and had him with us in our apartment. As he filled out it became apparent we were going to need to buy a house because he was in fact a bully mix and it was only a matter of time before we were kicked out. But there was another reason we really wanted a house, we still had our hearts set on adding Georgia to our family. Finally in July 2014 we were able to bring our girl home and she will stay with us for ever more! And oh is she royalty. For a dog from an unknown beginning she sure does have a thing for blankies, pillows, and anything soft. She loathes wet grass or hot sticky Houston days. She does however love the cooler months of fall and walks at any time of year. But for all her pickiness... she is our little girl and we love her to pieces. We just hope that we can give her as much joy and happiness as she gives us.
