UPDATES TO OUR SERVICE POLICES
We have made some edits to our polices page that are now in effect. We will be updating this in our documents section on petpocketbook as well. Listed below are the edited sections of this shared post, that is always pinned to the top of our social media page.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICIES
WINTER POLICY
The edited polices read as followed:
"We are a family owned and operated company who has dedicated their lives to providing exceptional care for our communities fur babies!
We require in person meet & greets with all potential K9 clients after a virtual interview with the pet owner, at no cost.
Petpocketbook is our booking software that allows us and our clients to communicate effectively. After approval, we will send you an invitation to our program via email. With personal profiles to provide details about your family and fur baby, submit booking requests for all services, messaging, report cards, make payments and more.
Please complete BOTH human & K9 profiles (by selecting the yellow picture bubbles and following promts) and complete/sign all paperwork in the system. Human profiles & the medical & behavioral portions of the pet profile must be completed. All scheduling will be made through this system.
Wiggle Bottomz is happy to pick up all your pups for any of their booked services! We do have time windows for all of our clients and try our best to be accurate! If we can not get into your home to get your dog, we will contact all owners. if we do not hear back within 10 minutes, we do need to continue our route.
All available servicing and pricing is available on our booking software that pet parents receive a link to after the official meet and greet is completed and approved by all parties, K9 and human alike.
*Discounts may be available for multiple dogs & extended consecutive bookings (over 14 days). Extended discount does not apply to holiday/vacation bookings
*Holidays & Vacations weeks are subject to increased rate due to increased demand.
***WE DO REQUIRE THAT ALL PACK HIKING DOGS ARE OFF-LEASH TRAINED!!**
Our hikes are off leash, therefore we require all of our dogs to be trained to have total off leash recall skills, with either vocal command or an e-collar. We face many distractions out on the trails, wild animals, dead animals, horseback riders, leashed dogs, children, etc. We need to have total control of our pack for everyone's safety. Your dog isn't trained but you want them to be? No problem! We can do that for you! Just ask us about our training options! We love having our pups learn and grow with us!
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICIES
All services are requested through our booking website, called petpocketbook. We then confirm or deny the request and you will receive an email. You are also able to message us or pay (service fee charged) through this website.
Appointments for some services are able to be booked consecutively (ex: Hike every Monday for the next month, etc).
The system does not allow any service requests to be made less than 24hour in advance. We ask that clients who do not have consecutive appointments scheduled to please have their requests in by 12pm Saturday before the beginning of the week. This will give us ample time to schedule the week as we only have so many spots and hours available to hike. We do still accept requests via text and through petpocketbook, but can not guarantee availability.
Appointments for all services are available to existing clients first. If you are a new client, or potential new client, you must have your virtual interview, petpocketbook profile and meet and greet completed to reserve any dates. We apologize for any inconvenience.
All pet care appointments must be confirmed/canceled at least 48-hours before date of scheduled stay. If client fails to cancel in time, 50% of the cost needs to be paid.
If we arrive to pick up your dog for a scheduled service that owners have failed to cancel, full price will need to be paid.
NEW WINTER POLICY EFFECTIVE AS OF JANUARY 2025
WINTER POLICY:
Our lovely New England Winters come with frigid temperatures, snow and ice. All of which can make driving dangerous. Our clients safety is our #1 priority. If we are hiking during freezing temperatures and/or snow/icey weather, we are requiring driveways be treated. If we can not see your driveway from your home and upon arrival deem the driveway unsafe, the client must make arrangements for someone to bring their dogs to the end of the driveway. We will text clients with an approximate ETA and will give a 5 minute grace period after that time for the dogs to arrive. If no arrangements are made, we will have to leave without the dogs being picked up. Full price will still be charged.
BLACKOUT DATES:
Black out dates are days (full or partial) where our services will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will continously update and repost our black out days as time goes on.
01/30/25- No services available. We will be out of state. We will not be able to be contacted after 12pm. Services will resume as normal the following day.
02/09/25- No services available
4/00/25- Date TBD- Cora's 2nd bday party!
6/29/25- NO SERVICES AVAILABLE- GOING TO SEE THE WIGGLES!
