The Lodge was designed with direct involvement and consideration given by veterinary professionals across 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸. The use of , the finest product on the market, is designed specifically for animal facilities and used in most veterinary practices.

Goodbye 2024, Hello 2025 🥂

It will forever be the year The Lodge proudly opened its doors to the North Bay and area. By the Spring, the buzz and anticipation had built - May 11th, we proudly invited the community to come experience first hand what had taken years of planning to create; an impressive Grand Opening event saw 200+ attendees and dignitaries. Spring rolled into Summer, and it did not take long to confirm the mission and values backing The Lodge is what canine adoring families were waiting for. Summer long weekends were enjoyed by a variety of new guests enjoying nature walks, private cuddles and pond times. In September, The Lodge property was placed on the national map, chosen to host part of the 2024 National Retriever Championship. This showcased the state-of-the-art facility, its stunning grounds and private lake to a whole new category of competition canine owners. By the time the snow had arrived, The Lodge had gained tremendous speed being named top “Kennel”, “Doggie Daycare”, “Grooming” and a top pick in “Training” by YOU, the community, via CommunityVotes - North Bay. The Holiday season was launched early on Nov 15th, welcoming canine adoring families to meet and capture photos with Santa, in turn raising an impressive $2455.00 supporting .Nora.Project , an event we intend to repeat annually. The Lodge’s inaugural Holiday week brought in record numbers of guests through our doors between grooming, daycare and overnight stays, truly solidifying the trust built between The Lodge and community.

The Lodge Team and extended Lodge family that has been built is diverse and strong with one thing in common; an unbreakable bond between human and canine. We’ve laughed and smiled together, cried and grieved together, celebrated birthdays, weddings and new babies together (human and puppies!) We’ve told tales of old dogs passed, how they’ve shaped our lives and how we continue to honour them. We’ve shared stories of humans saving dogs, and dogs saving humans. Companion dogs, therapy dogs, working dogs or show dogs, regardless of size and the reason for your furry friend, The Lodge made a promise to redefine pet care and offer a new caliber of care yet to be seen in the area. In 2025, we will continue to keep that promise and more, with additional new features, offerings and expansions. We can’t wait for you to see what we have in store and for this family to continue to grow!

Did you know? 🤔

Dividing the physical Lodge facility and the outdoor play yards exists a thoughtfully designed system of fenced walkways and gates. What does this mean? Staff and canine can safely and efficiently enter/exit the building, and es**rt canines from yard to yard without disrupting group play!

Drumroll please 🥁 He made a list, he checked it twice, he found out The Lodge’s first annual Photos with Santa event raised an impressive $2425.00 for The Nora Project to be presented to SickKids Foundation! The spirit of Christmas was alive last night as canine adoring families flooded The Lodge to capture a memory and share a treat with Santa and Mrs Clause! The Lodge is honoured to have brought this annual event to the North Bay community. This event will be busy, we ask for your patience and will do our best to keep people inside warm with hot chocolate and treats. We ask dogs be on leash while you wait for your photo opportunity and follow the directions of staff to ensure a fun, safe and enjoyable event. If you are a new guest to The Lodge, please bring proof of core canine vaccinations - Bordetella, Rabies, DA2PP WE ASK ALL DONATIONS BE MADE IN CASH. Canine Field Co was founded on an ethical training, breeding and compassionate boarding program, however, we are so much more. Canine Field Co believes in a strong community approach to the sporting dog world. The entire sporting dog world is blessed to have so many dependable training professionals across Canada and the USA. Many breeders mirror our ethical breeding program and produce outstanding dogs that will better the pedigrees for years to come. Our belief is that strengthening the community and supporting others in the passion will only further us all. While Canine Field Co may provide you with your future hunting partner, we are also happy to recommend others that could provide you the same. Our training program is competitive and our dogs are examples of the attention to detail in our actions
