Let’s start with fruits and veggies. Fresh produce offers a myriad of health benefits, including vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, fiber, and of course, antioxidants.

Look for bright colors! Orange foods like carrots and sweet potatoes contain flavonoids and beta-carotene. Blue foods like blueberries contain polyphenols. Apples and citrus fruits contain quercetin.

Now let’s talk healthy fat.

Omega 3 fats are made up of acids EPA, DHA, and ALA. We’re all aging. We see a laugh line here, a more pronounced crow’s feet there, and for our dogs, it’s much of the same.
