Welcome To Paw Responder Pet First Aid

Sarah Macknak is delighted to share her passion for pets, with her biggest passion being preventative health care. Sarah’s experience in the pet industry started early on by launching her own large scale all encompassing canine care facility - building Dogaholics Canine Centre from the ground up and managing daily operations of this 6500 sq ft. state of the art facility for 12 years, growing to one the largest of its kind in the city of Calgary. Sarah’s community involvement is extensive, giving back to various charities and rescue organizations since 2007 by donating time and facilities for foster overflows. Sarah’s interest peaked when she entered into the world of pet first aid by completing her Walks ’N’ Wags Pet First Aid Instructor Course in Surrey, BC in November 2017.

You will find her teaching various courses in locations within the city of Calgary and most recently in Winnipeg! Sarah also enjoys spending time at the lake in the summer and running and joining fitness classes in her spare time, she also enjoys the company of her two feisty senior terriers Zoe the Westie who is 12 years old and Bandit the Yorkie, 11.
