We often hear things like, “I don’t need a fancy ribbon dog,” or “I don’t need a field trial dog.” While you might not be interested in the dog sports yourself, you are far better served to buy a puppy from proven pedigrees. The titles we work so hard to achieve with these pups don’t mean you have to do the same, they mean the pups are far more trainable, biddable, driven and intelligent than dogs who were never able to be trained to that level. As one of the most popular breeds in the country, there are tons of lab litters born every day; buying a puppy from a litter proven to do the activity you want vs a litter that wasn’t, only stacks the odds in your favor of owning and training a dog who will willingly and consistently perform and be healthy for years to come.
