Great article by Wingwise about a baby birds immune system and one reason why we parent start our chicks 🐥 so the immune system can operate how it is supposed to, by cloacal drinking within the enviroment, not to mention that we don’t want the first thing they hear to be the hum of an incubator ..we would much rather it be the mums voice, science has proven parrots talk to their chicks in the egg
