Tiny Paws Rescue is a volunteer foster-based, small-breed dog rescue dedicated to rescue and placement of small dogs into loving, permanent homes throughout Phila, Bucks, Chester, Montgomery & Delaware counties in PA as well as Central & Southern NJ

Countless small dogs in the region are left homeless every year through no fault of their own. Many are dumped at ACCT Philly (Animal Care and Contr

ol Team of Philadelphia) and other public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation. Others are surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. Tiny Paws Rescue is committed to helping the neediest, as well as the readily adoptable, among our area’s most vulnerable creatures. Dogs in our care receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, including spay or neuter, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await adoption and placement in the loving, responsible, forever homes they deserve. Tiny Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue run entirely by dedicated volunteers and does not receive any public funding. We rely entirely on fundraising support and donations from private individuals and local companies/organizations who believe in our mission.

ADOPT MIGHTY CORN DOG!!

Mighty Corn Dog’s a 2.5yo 9lb Terrier mix. He’s dog friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule, p*e pad and crate trained. He’d be good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. He likes to play with other dogs and once he warms wants to be with his people all the time. He is very cuddly, affectionate, wants to be where his people are and sleep in the room where they are, too.

Mighty Corn Dog’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, another dog in the home along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Mighty Corn Dog as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.

Venus is a 1yo 8lb Terrier mix. She’s dog and older kid friendly. She’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and crate trained. She’s used to her fosters secure fenced in yard and would need some extra work on harness leash walking. She’s very active, affectionate and cuddly especially with her people.

Max is a 1.5yo 11lb Terrier mix. He can be small, calm dog friendly with warm up time and slow introductions. He’s thought to be good with kids 12+. He’s house and crate trained. He’d be best with a secure fenced in yard, since isn’t good when he meets other dogs on walks. He loves toys especially his lamby. He’s super smart, knows commands, very affectionate and loving, quite the talker (barker) indoors and outdoors, so would need a single family home so not to bother neighbors.

Max’s foster requires a home with a secure fenced in yard and if other dogs in the home they need to be small, calm dogs and given time to warm up along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. 🌸 Meet Susuki 🌸

This tiny sweetheart was pulled from the shelter recently, and her gentle spirit immediately stole our hearts. 💕 Susuki is a small dog with a big heart, and she’s already been through more than her fair share.

She was adopted on Thursday, but sadly returned shortly after due to some blood in her urine — likely a side effect from her recent spay surgery. While it’s nothing too serious, it was understandably concerning for her adopter.

Despite the back-and-forth, Susuki remains her sweet, loving self. She’s resting, healing, and in good hands while we make sure she’s 100% ready for her forever home. 🐾

This little girl deserves a second chance at love — and we’re committed to making sure the next chapter of her life is full of safety, comfort, and joy. Stay tuned — Susuki will be available for adoption soon! 💫

Our TINY Patrick, (formerly TS Bexley, ACCT Philly) gets his Photonic Health infrared light treatment 2x a day! This helps decrease inflammation and pain in the affected area that has rendered him paralyzed from a disc injury. We can see improvement with each treatment. He also gets more targeted infrared red light and green light therapy 2x a day. His activity level has increased dramatically since starting this therapy! Our goal is to get Patrick back up on all fours! Light therapy along with traditional meds, physical therapy and specific supplements like Myos, Real Mushrrooms, Native Pet Probiotics, we will get him there!

Rory’s a 3mo 5.8lb Chi mix. He’s dog friendly and has not been around cats or kids to know, but it’s felt that he will be good with dog respectful kids. He’s crate and p*e pad trained, but will need work on house training with his young age. He’s be good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks with training. He’s a very smart, playful, inquisitive, energetic puppy. He’s a fast learner and enjoys playing with his siblings and foster family. He knows basic commands and loves to play fetch.

Rory’s foster requires he be in a home with another young playful dog and/or dog respectful kid along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Tiny Paws Rescue was founded in 2015 by Kim Astringer. We are a 501(c)3 Nonprofit rescue and animal advocacy organization serving Central & Southern NJ as well as Phila, Bucks, Chester, Montgomery & Delaware counties.
